The Zionist dream is not the Kurdish dream
The cause of the Kurdish self determination has been discredited in the Middle East by claiming that it is all a plot by Zionists to dismember Arab states, or a plot by America to “punish” Turkish independence.
So it seems that the Kurds are pressured to remain the stray fringes of the dirty little secret of the Middle East and North Africa, in hope of drowning out their pleas for help and recognition.
Not surprisingly, the word “self-determination” makes politically correct Middle East pundits very very nervous, except of course when it is applied to the Arabs of Palestine, or the Oozlebarts of Iraq.
This dream of separation and independence has formed somewhat of a mutual understanding between not only Israel and Kurdistan, but also with Palestine, Tamil Region (Sri Lanka), South Yemen, Los Llanos (Bolivia), and Kosovo. This is not uncommon in politics, this dream for single state.
However among all these ties of common affinity, Israel has taken it upon themselves to regard the Kurds as an important ally in its struggle for their claim of “survival against Arab regimes”, such as Saddam Hussein’s.
In 2000, Saddam called on Muslims and Christians around the world to declare a jihad against Israel and what he called the “Zionist conspiracy.” It is inevitable that some simple minded people relate this ideology to Saddam’s long lived despise for the Kurds. This however is far from the dictators reasoning for his actions.
The Kurds were a threat to his ruling, his empire, his “great-master plan”, like any great leader Hussein had to clear his path of any obstacles and his attempt was a pretty clean shot too which almost eradicated the whole Iraqi-Kurd race. For Israel this was somewhat of a salt sprinkling on an open wound thus initiating its line of ally with north Iraq as getting closer to the Kurds provided them with a good back channel to countries such as Turkey, Iran and Syria. Thus to this day Kurdistan as a feeble region only admits to Israel within narrow confines of the martial and geopolitical benefits that they confer.
Fact of the matter is, no matter how desperate for allies Kurdistan is made out to be by fascists, Israel will not risk its strategic alliance with Turkey which is currently under serious strain, just to further Kurdish national aspirations. Israel is dependent for its survival on the United States and for its economic welfare on the European Union, both of which are strongly opposed to Kurdish independence, so it will not risk its losses.
Moreover: destabilizing Iraq, Iran, and Turkey by establishing Kurdistan as a free state is not in the interests of Israel nor America for that matter.
What we are questioning here is politics, and if observed closely it is evident that its run by infidels. Religion is not even a matter politicians and world leaders consider when they make hasty decisions like going to war with Iraq and Afghanistan, or when they decide to cut aid imports into third worlds.
However like all religion, Judaism is not completely distributed across any one nation. And similar to Islam, Jews come in various ethnic backgrounds and origins. Therefore for many who were ignorant enough to accuse and associate Kurds (a majority Sunni Muslim nation) to be Jews; take note that there too are Arab, Persian and Turkish Jews.
This pathetic blow to the Kurdish name by putting them down as an accomplice to the Zionist movement is nothing but that… a pathetic conspiracy theory that aims to weaken the Kurdish ties, and bridges that it has worked to recover with its neighboring Arabs.
Thus essentially the Zionist dream is not the Kurdish dream. We are impartial.

Arabs have an amazing power of accusing anyone, or any group, by a totalitarian-hand-made-already-prepared dish of Conspiracy Theory!
Whether, the minority are Bahai’s, Kurds, Masons, Atheists, Agnostics, Seculars, or even Shiites… All of them are spreading, consciously or non-consciously, from the Arabic conspiracist point of view, the Ultra Right-wing Neo-conservative Chauvinist Imperialist Zionist Fascist Fetishist Lobbyist Racist Conspiracy in the Middle East!
from my experience from working for 3 years in Kurdish areas ,and my long discussions with several Kurdish friends ,i always understand there need to be independent and have the ability to live in save heaven
but also we as iraqi Arabs are requierd to accept the federal states and partners ship in 3 days course without a teacher
it is hard to enter a stable dilogue when people keep referring to you as Fascist’s,crimnal and other list of nicknames many decied it is ok to call us just because we are arabs and sunnis and wanna live in iraq,we are treated like the way saddam treated the kurds in the 80s
the concept of arabic kurdsh brother hood is something we grow into ,and we had family ties and historical ties btween arabic and kurdish families and tribes ,my family great grandfather was from kurdish roots ,
it is the right of kurds to look for kurdish country ,they had to live in a save place and not be controled by people in baghdad ,also what happen to them in saddam days is a fact we had to understand and work so no other ethencity in iraq live
but we are facing a culture of polticians who like to find chairs in a states and concern about wining more than on building a state ,so they work on the sensitive sides of people ,and play on hate the other card ,this is making people go in distance and grew generations eho over look there arabic part or there kurdish part,
to call the kurds something like israli is stuiped especially for any one who went and work and live there ,the kurdish case is not related to zionest idology by any means
but to keep calling the others as boold thursity facist is also not fair ,cause we are partners in country and brothers in herdtge and neighboors by geography ,and if one day the kurds got there state they will stay near us ,so do we really need to buildfuture of hate for our coming generations?
Thanks for the feed back but Wamith i think you almost misunderstood the point made in this post.
Its is not aimed at calling Arabs fascists, but more so to highlight that it IS the fascists who oppose the Kurdish pioneering movement of trying to live head above water. And that it IS the fascists who make a link and grounds of ally rumors between the Zionists and the Kurds.
Its not about Kurds clamming to become central government in Iraq, its about having their voices heard. Therefore its not a “pay-back” scheme by the kurds to get their own back on the Iraqi arabs. It was a dictator ship we all lived under, the arabs were forced to kiss the hand of a murderer with fear, and the kurds were forced to sit in silence as the threw gravel on top of them during the genocide. We all suffered in one way or another, whether you were kurd, arab, or assyrian, the only thing that didn’t suffer was the Public health system and the economy. Thats all iraq ever got out of Saddam’s ruling.
Visit iraq (unless you live there, you will already know this) and you will see more than half of the arabs from Baghdad and Mosul are migrating to the North Kurdish regions for employment, housing, and other simple stuff like entertainment, healthcare. This is more than enough to demonstrate peaceful coexistence, something the outside world including Iraqis (both arab and kurds) have no idea of.
We are Mesopotamians, whether we like it or not we share common grounds of relatives that date back to ONLY 50/60 yrs ago. Our devision is at its youth stages, its so fresh that like you said you can point out who came from the norther kurdish region in your family and who came from the south Arab side.
Hence all the more reason to STOP adding to the barrier certain enemies are creating between arabs and kurds, in hope of inhibiting the efforts for a peaceful iraq. And all the more reason to CORRECT their idiotic ideologies of accusing kurds whom too are iraqis of backing up the Zionist movement essentially inspite of our own people. That kind of hatred is fascism, and inexcusable.
Thanks for your comments, appreciate the feedback.
First, it should always be remembered that the zionist mafia is the one who kidnapped the great Kurdish leader Abdallah Ocalan and handed him to the Turks… and this shows how the dirty zionist role in the region- a bunch of assassins and mafia !!!
second, it should be clear that the zionists have penetrated Kurdstan since the American invasion and there are a lot of the zionist assassins are already there not only in Kurdstan but in the whole of Iraq sabotaging, training the American soldiers of their bloody procedures and even inciting ethnic enmity and holding terrorist attack on civilians to stigmatize the muslim fighters !!
It seems that some Kurdish leaders who are tied integrally to the American occupation are giving shelter for the zionists to act and gather information on Iraq, Iran and Syria (as Kurdistan is the safest and most strategic place in ethnic that triangle) !!!
The zionists are not far away from the Turkish eyes who are fighting the PKK, and it seems that the Turks are benefiting from the zionist presence there as they both are watching the region closely (if not cooperating against the PKK) !!!
The zionists think only about their own interest and the last thing they would think of is to aid establishing an independent Kurdistan, it is not of their interest (as you mentioned in the post) but probably they are using some of the corrupt Kurdish politicians who in turn dont care but about their share of the Kurdish oil !!!
