I seek refuge with Allah from the evil insinuations of The Rejected, Accursed Shaitan. With Allah’s name, The Merciful Benefactor, The Merciful Redeemer, As-Salaam-u alaikum!

When one wants to know about something of someone it is best to get the info from its foundational source(s). People often let their opinions, biases, feelings, etc. get in their way when they want to speak of themselves or others, especially when talking about institutions.

To know any religiously ordained way of life study its’ book(s), hopefully in its original language. While realizing the type of environment that the people were living in at the time of its revelation to their earthly guide.

It would be hard to get people to join any religion today if the criteria is based on how one observes those who proclaim to be religious and or spiritual.

Many people put down “Islam” without knowing what it is, and or what it is about. The same with “Allah”, etc.

In a humble attempt to bring some clarity to the situation I have produced the following, following Allah’s command for us (Muslims, as Allah defines the word) to come together on common terms.

Please use it as you see fit for the uplifting of humanity (Adam)?

PREFACE

Ask any number of people from a group who has heard a lecture, what was said? and what does it mean to that person? Do you believe that you will get one and the same response from each person? Why? or why not?

“It is every person’s natural right to find their own interpretation of meaning and make choices in life. Those choices are enhanced and limited be the quality of information available prior to decision. Meaning is up to the individual which is based upon one’s: intellect, environmental situations and physical abilities.

With this, in chronological order, we freely share a broader range of facts on the word “Islam” in order to help others find their way for their reasons.”
WHY ISLAM?

إسلام Islam (السلام the Islam and الإسلام The Islam) is, according to الله (Allah) our common Creator, and His sent Holy Messengers who serve Him as our source(s) for His Light to enlighten and guide us, The Obligatory Way of Life for His created and made “man”. Islam, As-Salaam, Muslim, and Al-Islam come from the Arabic word “سلم” (slm; salem) which basically includes the meanings of peace, safety, security, sound, intact, and free.

Islam was and is used in its’ generic form from Allah and His sent Holy Servants and Messengers [angels and people] as السلام (As-Salaam; the Islam) which is one of Allah’s names. Allah names it in its’ completed and perfected form الإسلام (Al [The]-Islam); a.k.a. الإسلام دين Al [The]-Islam-a Dee-naa, and إسلام Islam).

Islam is our Creator’s personal evolutionary spiritual communication with His created beings known as “man”. Read in the name of your LORD Who Created, all that ever was, is, and will be, about Islam’s evolution. Read about Islam in (y)our belief system and then live it as much as you can while giving Allah His due respect?

Some explicit and implied forms of Islam as used in “الكتب المقدس” (Al Ke-ta-bul-Mu-qa-de-su; The Holy Book [the Bible in Arabic]), and or The Qur’an with excerpts of their basic meanings are: السلام (As-Salaamu; the Islam); السلام ( As-Salaam; the Islam); السلام (As-Salaame; the Islam ); السلامة (As-Salaama-te; the Islam); الإسلام (Al Islam. The Islam, The Desired Peaceful Way to be); الإسلام دين (Al Is-laa-ma Dee-naa; The Obligatory Way to be); للسلام (Lis-salaame; to, or for, emphasizing the words the Islam); سلام (salaam; peace); إسلام (Islam; peace); المسلمين (Al-Mus-le-meen; The Muslims); مسالما (mu-sa-al-la-maan; “…determinate”, Acts 2:23), and و يبشر بالسلام بيسوع المسيح (preaching peace [{بالسلام bis-sa-laam}with and or in, and or by the Islam] by Jesus Christ, Acts 10:36); للسلام (“…the peaceable”, Hebrews 12:11); السلام (“the peaceful”, Jeremiah 25:37); في مسكن السلام (“…in a peaceable habitation”, Isaiah 32:18);بالسلامة (bis-Salaama-te; “…in the peace” [in the Islam], Judges 11:31); القوم مسالمون (al-qau-mu mu-saa-le-muun-a; [The Peaceable Men] “…men peaceable”, Genesis 34:21); أنا مسالمة (‘A-na Mu-saa-le-ma-tuun; “I am one of them that are peaceable”, 2 Samuel 20:19); مسالميه (mu-saa-le-mee-he; “…peace with him”, Psalm 55:20); مسالموك (mu-saa-le-muuk; “…at peace with thee”, Obadiah 1:7); طوبى لصانعي السلام (Tuu-baa le-saa-ne-‘aees-salaame; ”Blessed are the Peacemakers,…” Matthew 5:9); المجد الله في الاعالي و على الارض السلام و بالناس المسرة (Al maj-du lil-la-he fee al-a‘alee, wa ‘ala al-ar-dis-Salaamu, wa ben-naa-sel ma-sar-ra-tu! “Glory to ‘God’ (Allah) in the highest, and on earth Peace, good will toward men!” Luke 2:14); و اما الحكمة التي من فوق فهي اولا طاهرة، ثم مسالمة، (Wa amma-al-hek-ma-tul-tee men fo-qu fa-he-ya aw-wa-la-an taa-he-ra-tuun thum-ma mu-saa-le-ma-tuun,…; “But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable,…”, James 3:17); السلام (As-Salaamu; [the Islam; The] “Peace”, Revelation 1:4); and السلام من الاض (…As-Salaame me-nal-ard…; “ …Peace from the earth…” Revelation 6:4).

الكتب المقدس (Al Ke-ta-bul-Mu-qa-de-su; The Holy Book, [the Bible in Arabic, Arabic Bible 41, 32M--1993]); and the King James Version in English are the sources for all of the Biblical Arabic and English. WHO DOES ALLAH CLASSIFY AS MUSLIMS?

In the Arabic Language the word “إسلام, Islam” when used as “السلام, (as-salaam) the Islam”, the obligatory Way to Be a.k.a. “religion” as revealed by our Creator, الله Allah, means the essence of all Divine knowledge in the “religion” of Prophet Abraham (a.k.a. Abram/Ibrahim) (a). Variations of السلام (the Islam) are used in الكتب المقدس (The Holy Book), and in part in القرءان (Al [The] Qur’an) and it is a name (attribute) of Allah. When Allah perfected His religious revelations to “man,” and completed His favor upon “man” He named it الإسلام دين Al Islam-a Dee-naa; read Al Ma’idah, 5:3.

The independent definite article ال sets it apart from any of its’ generic forms and meanings. This is the final revelation to Prophet Muhammad ibn Abdullah (s.) of Arabia. It fulfills the prophecy in Deuteronomy 18 of a specific prophet that the Children of Isra’el a.k.a. “House of Isra’el” and “Jews” were anxiously waiting to receive as recorded in John 1 and 6. And also of Jesus, the son of Mary, The Christ (a.), a.k.a. رسول الله (Rasuu-la-llah, Messenger of Allah) [see John 17:3 and Al Nisa’, 4:157], of the one who would come after him being with us always, teaching all things, testifying of Jesus (عيسى، يسوع) (a.), guiding to all the truth that he hears, and showing us things to come.

“السلام, (as-salaam) the Islam”, the obligatory Way to Be is the generic, evolutionary, name of the only religion that Allah ever revealed to His chosen and prepared khalifs, stewards, etc. In Surah Ali ‘Imran, 3:64 Allah tells us to come together on our common terms. And that we are to judge each person according to that ones’ book.

Allah calls those who with a free and clear mind voluntarily: accept إسلام, Islam and or الإسلام, Al Islam, and practice the systemic process of Islam and or Al Islam in their daily life المسلمين, The Muslims

Muslims are to recognize and respect each other’s chosen religious labels’ name, and each others sub-label(s), and personal name(s) by which we live in our personal attitudes, and character. Some will have the broader sub-labels of: بني اسرعيل, Children of Isra’el, بيت اسرعيل, House of Isra’el,اليهود , The Jews, النصارى, The Christians (Coptics, Nazarenes, Baptists, Catholics, Protestants, etc.), and المسلمين, The Muslims (Sunni, Shi’ite, Sufi, etc)

Allah lets us know that in all religious groups there is a practicing range of members from hypocrites to the saintly. Allah tells us to judge one according to that one’s revealed book that is claimed to be that one’s Guiding Light. Allah says in Surah Al Ma’idah, 5:41-(48)-50 that all of us are to strive as if in a race towards all that is good and virtuous.

Allah says in Surah Al Hajj, 22:78:هو سماكم المسلمين من قبل و في هذا (Hu-wa sam-ma’a-ku-mul-mus-le-mee-na men qab-lu wa fee haa-dhaa. He named you Muslims, in the past and in this [revelation].).

Regardless of one’s label(s) if one is practicing (living one’s life) according to that one’s revealed scripture(s), Allah classifies that one as a Muslim (according to the meaning of the word Muslim), and we are to do the same.

One may ask, why? Because in Surah: Al Anbiyah, 21:92/93 and Al Mu’minun, 23:52-54 Allah makes it clear that we are all one community (ummah, nation, etc.) of kindred spirits. And that He is our LORD Whom is due His proper respect, regard, and worship from all of us.

Excerpts of the evolution of the term Muslims in its practical aspects are found in The Arabic Bible (The Holy Book) in Genesis 34:21; 2 Samuel 20:19; Psalm 55:20; Obadiah 1:7, and James 3:17. The Muslims “per se” are the followers of Prophet Muhammad (s.) who is made mention of in all prior revealed scriptures by name and or country, who was born in Arabia, around 600 C. E.

WHO IS ALLAH??? AND WHAT IS HE TO YOU???

في البدء خلق الله السموات و الارض (Feel-bad-‘e kha-la-qa Alla-hus-sa-ma-waa-te wal-ard. In the beginning “God” created the heaven and the earth. Genesis 1:1). انا اخيرت و خلصت و اعلمت و ليس بينكم غريب. و انتم شهودي يقول الرب و انا الله. (Ana ‘akh-bar-tu wa khal-las-tu wa lay-sa bay-na-kum gha-ree-buun. Wa ‘an-tum shu-huu-dee ya-quu-lur-rab-bu wa ‘a-na Allah. I have declared, and have saved, and I have shewed, when there was no strange god among you: therefore ye are my witnesses, saith the Lord, that I am “God” [Allah]. Isaiah 43:12). خلقها الله (kha-la-qa-haa Allah; “God” created the world; Mark 13:19); اسجد لله … (As-jud lel-la-he, “… Worship Allah!”) Revelation 22:9, and الله (Allah [“God”]) Revelation 22:18/19. Emphasis mine.

WHAT IS ISLAM?

A Muslim lives a Way of Life (Islam and or Al Islam) that is in harmony with the laws of Nature and of Nature’s Deity. The signs in the natural world that are found through the use of mathematical science, which is based on reason, and logic is His proof to “man”, as defined by Allah in His engrafted Word which is able to save, that His Word, Will, and Way are True and The Obligatory Way (Islam and or Al Islam) for us to be.

Islam/Al Islam are systems of life processes that are faith based which requires sincere Deity-Centered, conscious actions. Sincere Deity-Centered, conscious actions better the practitioners characters and their environments. The practitioners, with Allah’s Grace, will show themselves approved of and by Allah as His servants by serving His Creation.

Islam/Al Islam have five (5) common pillars of Deity-Centered, conscious actions they are: (1) (Shahadatain) To know and proclaim that: there is only One True Deity Who Created the World; and that He sent their specific Guiding Light, whom He guided and sent His Word, Will, and Way through, in the form of human prophets and or messengers. [Note John 17:3; and the statement one makes to become a Muslim follower of Prophet Muhammad (s.)]; (2) (Salawat) To establish formal remembrance and praise worship services at regular intervals that helps the practitioners to remember Him, His Word, Will, and Way; (3) (Pay Tithes/Zakat) To pay a mandatory tax as charity, and to help secure the community; (4) (Saum) To fast on the dates and or time periods that Allah Ordains for His servants to fast; and (5) (Haj-jul Bait) To have a strong desire to make a pilgrimage to Allah’s Holy House, based upon one’s book, at least once in one’s life. And to make it if, and when, one is financially and physically able to so do.

WHAT IS FAITH?

Faith in Islam/Al Islam is the sincere mental/spiritual perceptive belief in there being a Unique Creator (Tauheed) Who has sent His Word, Will, and Way to “man” by prophets and or messengers through at least one of His angels.

“Man” believes that there is more to life than the physical existence. The Creator’s Word, Will, and Way are engrafted into scriptures (books) which are able to save the real essence of “man’s” life. So “man” tries to get in tune with The Creator’s Word, Will, and Way before it is to late to so do. So that after being resurrected on The Day of Judgment “man” will, by Allah’s Grace, enter into Paradise unscathed by the fire of Hell.

Through it all “man” realizes that there are some things that are just meant to be by some form of predestination (Qadr). In the life of “man”, whether “man” acknowledges it or not, seemingly miraculous things happen and or dreadful things are avoided or are encountered that “man” has no control over at all.

WHAT IS IHSAN (CREATOR CENTERED CONSCIOUSNESS)?

Although “man” can’t see Allah in any shape, form, or fashion in this physical life, “man” is to live as though “man” is actually seeing Allah, with the knowledge that Allah is seeing and hearing “man’s” actions, thoughts and words.

WHAT DOES ALLAH DESIRE OF HIS CREATED/ MADE SERVANTS?

If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. 2 Chronicles 7:14

May Allah bless you to be what you need to be and can be? Ameen. Oh Allah, make Muhammad successful and the true followers of Muhammad successful, as You made Ibrahim successful and the true followers of Ibrahim (Children of Isra’el, House of Isra’el, Jews, and the Christians) successful? For surely You are praised, and magnified. Oh Allah, bless Muhammad and the true followers of Muhammad, as You blessed Ibrahim and the true followers of Ibrahim (Children of Isra’el, House of Isra’el, Jews, and the Christians)?
