I am horrified at what I see in Bahrain today.

Your Excellency, I have met many Bahrainis throughout my life. They were from various communities, Shia, Sunni, Fars, Arab, and others. All Bahrainis expressed their love and pride in Bahrain. I have never met a Shia who said I wish I lived in Iran. I never met a Sunni who said the Shias are not Bahrainis. They all seemed to me as a patriotic, proud people who loved every centimeter of their country and they loved each other as Bahrainis.

So it is shocking to me that your government is not able to listen to your Bahraini citizens. How you deal with your citizens is up to you but choosing the path of a suppressive regime will ultimately bring you down. You have a golden opportunity to come up with an answer that could be a template for others in the region to follow.

History has shown us time and time again that people will ultimately win over the use of force, whatever that maybe, whether it is tanks, guns, Basijis or torture. Leaders who are not just and don’t listen to their citizens will end up in the heap of human history.

Your Excellency let me humbly suggest a way to resolve this serious issue. Come out of your palace and reach out to your citizens, sit down with them, listen to what they have to say and you will be surprise that they will work with you for the sake of their country. You will realize that your citizens are your best and closest allies and ultimately your best advisors. Seize the Moment!!!

May Allah Protect You and the people of Bahrain.

To the Youth of Egypt…We salute you, we pray for you but more importantly we thank you for reminding humanity that courage, determination, sacrifice, truthfullness and unity is still the best answer to oppression!!

As I write this, Mr. Hosni Mubarak, is about to make an announcement on TV, but this is not about the dictator or the past. I want to write about two young heroes of the Arab nations of Tunisia and Egypt. Mohammad Bouazizi and Wael Ghonim were two young men who rallied their nations against dictatorship. They were both young (26 and 30), they were both educated. One became a fruit seller and one a Google executive, one poor and one rich. But they both recognized and felt the atmosphere of oppression that they and their nation lived in and they both took action to fight it. One sacrificed his life; the other put his comfortable life, material wealth and life on the line. These young men, rallied their nations; men, women, boys, girls, young and old to come out and take a stand and bring down the dictatorship.

I salute Mohammad and Wael. I pray for the soul of Mohammad and pray for the safety of Wael.

Mr. Mubarak tried to show himself as the caring father, the benelovent leader who cares for his people.
He came out missing the point again. Mubarak said he will not stand for re-election and will step down in September. A person who has ruled Egypt for 30 years, with an iron fist and with emergency powers wants to leave on his own term.

If Mubarak really heard the voices of his people, he would push the election day up from September to May/June, giving political parties time to organize and steping down immediately and letting a transitional government run the country.

May God Protect the Egyptian People.

In the summer of 2009 when thousands of Iranians were protesting the elections and were shouting aginst tyranny and dictatorship of Mr. Ahmadinejad and his benefactor, Mr. Khamenei. The Editor of Al-Quds Al-Arabi Mr. Abdel Bari Atwan, said the protesters are being manipulated by the West to go out in the streets and protest. Perhaps thinking that the Iranian nation was so politically immature that they could obey the orders of news anchors from CNN and the BBC and a bunch of CIA agents running around the streets of Tehran!!!

Mr. Atwan, are the people of the Arab nations of Tunisia, Egypt and Yemen also protesting because of the orders that they have recieved from the West, from the western media and their intelligence services?

That’s all…

To the Peoples of the Arab Nation,

Today crimes are being committed in Iran by a leadership that opposes the will of its people. Innocent lives are being taken by Khamenei and his servant Ahmadinejad and many of you sit on the sidelines and watch.

I know Khamenei and Ahmadinejad are very popular in your nations. Khamenei and Ahmadinejad are seen by you as the embodiment of justice, rightousness. The Islamic Republic is seen by your people as being the paradise where people can enjoy Islamic justice and progress. Some of you have benefitted by the resources that they spend on you day and night. When two years ago Israel destroyed Lebanon, it was the Iranian government lead by Ahmdinejad who poured every resources and fixed the areas with bridges, hospitals and houses. Do you know 20 years after the Iran-Iraq War, the areas where the war took place in Iran, has not been fixed!!! To add insult to injury, Ahmadinejad committed Iranian money to fix Iraq!!! You are bribed into supporting a system that oppresses the Iranian people. From Hezbollah in Lebanon, to Hamas in Palestine, to the Syrian and Iraqi government, Iran’s government pours resources for you while in an oil-producing nation its own people have to stand in line to get petrol for their car.

I ask you to examine yourselves and your conscience. How can these leaders who you think of as being your saviours, kill young women and men, their own citizens just so they can stay in power? How can they be running an Islamic system and steal from their own people?

Its time for you to put aside your Shia-Bias, Sunni-Bias, anti-Western bias or whatever it is that blinds you from seeing Khamenei and Ahmadinejad for who they are liars, thieves, and criminals.

O Arab Nation Where is Your Conscience?
