Today is my birthday; finally I cross a line of lad,
Underneath hushed neighboring and asking what I had.

I hear the voices of big waves on seashore,
Rising and coming towards me to encore.

Countless gifts I received on this day,
Wrapped with honesty or duplicity what can I say?

My ancestors, my friends are encompassing me,
Till the sunlight come to an end; they make me glee.

Bunch of queries blooper my memory thoroughly,
Yet no one access my body focal point successfully.

Suddenly my tears falling to the ground,
Is this a blissful occasion where I am wound.

Should I dress in these unseen hopes?
Or enter in it as a new door and grope.

Should I please is this day I am looking in spite of?
Or feel dire because fate scratches my hearts in place of.

Hereafter, I am again in a situation to tackle the life,
Which is in my beyond; looking for me to survive and rife.

Though, I also want to stand on my feet,
But deep inside me my soul does not meet.

Ah, demolish cyclone still rise and descend,
And no one is able to defend and depend.

Background:
The 133rd birthday anniversary of the Poet of the East, Doctor Allama Mohammed Iqbal would be observed on 9th November, 2010. As we look through the lattice of history, we realize that the greatest hindrance in recognizing the excellence of a genius comes form his contemporaries. Iqbal was one of those rare geniuses whose excellence in the field of poetry as well as political thinking was recognized throughout the world in his lifetime. Iqbal’s poetry imbibed a new spirit in the people and he himself played a significant role in the struggle for independence of the subcontinent. He expected the youth to look forward and high, as they were courageous and brave like Eagles. Lets join hands and revive the idelogy of Iqbal.

Poem:

Yesterday night,
In dream I fright,
Saw an aglow,
Stands below.

I am anxious,
Heart says inefficacious,
The shadow is clear,
Iqbal came near.

Holds my wrist,
Said, I am exist,
What you give to my land?
Which I give in your hand?

He takes me away,
A gloomy place and say,
How many lives were rewards?
For the land given by the lord.

I said, I don’t know,
He replied oh wow,
Thousand bloods were driven,
How could you forgiven?

Where are my young eagles?
Who are born for struggles?
Who pull stars down from sky?
Who shelters on mountains and fly?

As I look over his eyes,
His face down and cries,
Did you read my verses?
In which you start rehearses.

I said no,
He replied so,
If you ever reads,
You found various seeds.

Though if this land is spoiled?
Its mean you need great toiled.
O’ my eagles its time to stand?
For the land which is your sand.

At last sun arises today,
A first blush of morning,
A day of celebration and rejoicing,
Millions of people are cherishing.

Here it comes,
A national day of Saudi Arabia,
A country of grace,
Though the mercy of God.

A mysterious elegance on earth,
A land of holy places,
A symbol of harmony,
A virtue of humanity.

Just a glimpse on the sky,
The sky which is blue green,
Shaping like a national flag;
And reflect its shadow all over.

I saw children all around,
Dressing green shirts and costumes,
Painted their faces;
Weaving flag and singing rhythms.

Time after time, I fall,
I fall in love with a country,
Where I am born; and Living,
Where I stand and learn.

Today I am proud like a countryman,
Yet we all celebrate this day,
With honor and pray for the prosperity;
A country called voice of allegiance.

At last first blush arises today,
A day of our independence,
Look into the surrounds,
Everything glares like a bright star.

O Soul, Let’s see my untainted country,
A hidden beauty of heaven,
The Green shaded piece,
Of territories and glitter meadow.

A land of bird’s-eye fields,
Of in shred’s mountain spheres,
Of sweep rains and Monsoon,
Of Divine Sceneries and Lakes.

I often fall into love with her,
Wild blue yonder and azure sky,
Misted and fiery dark yellow sun,
The delicates shield of greenness.

There are abundant reflections I feel,
On the weaving flag of my country;
Reflecting their colors on the sky,
In a shape of fantasy Rainbow.

It’s a time to salute our forefathers,
Still their light continued us.
We are here through their struggle;
And called us a separate nation.

Today, I am proud of being countrymen,
Yet my hope remains with my country,
Having a high spirit to become;
An Eagle of Iqbal and follower of Jinnah.

Though a brute force as a nation,
From all over the land we come,
We should celebrate this day,
And put our flag flying extremely.

While sitting alone on seashore,
In a beneath silent all over,
Vault of heaven start spreading,
First blush of morning is on the head.

The whole day passed till the end,
Lots of questions have bob up in my mind.
It has been more than twenty years,
Why I observed August 2nd?

Though thinking on the seashore,
Unexpectedly I slept there,
An Angel came in my dream,
And whispered;

Happy Birthday Aymen,
Wear a crown on your head.
A symbol of cheerful face,
A bestow on the years.

Time fleets like water,
To you the fresh teenage times.
Underneath your daydreaming,
To become older and grower so speedy.

Let’s observe your day;
See the gracious eyes of,
Your Love, Family and Friends.
They are here for a big applaud.

Ah! You cheer out more, make out more;
One advice always continue your hand,
To those; Who are destitute and needy?
And Thanks God to place your feet on each day.

Whatever life appraised
My love and happiness is for you
