Name: Eliesheva Email: liz@mideastyouth.com Website: http://lizraelupdate.com/ Description: I’m in my mid-20s, Jewish (modern/observant), and proudly grew up in New York (yes, I have New York egocentrism; ok, ok, I’m from the U.S. as well). I moved to Israel (or ‘made aliyah‘) in January 2005 and live in Jerusalem for now. I made aliyah for lotsa reasons, many of which are cultural and religious. This past summer, I (wisely) married an Australian, just to spice things up and give me an excuse to get out there one day. Yes, it was sad for both of us to watch Steve Irwin go. I currently study Conflict Management & Negotiation at Bar Ilan University (near Tel Aviv) for a Masters Degree. My first degree was Political Science, English, International Studies. Now I’m kind of embarrassed to admit that. I work in what Israelis so lovingly call, ‘hi-tech’. I love traveling, and hope that someday my Israeli passport will not be an obstacle in many portions of the world. For now, I still got that other citizenship from the U.S.
