Description: I came to Israel from Toronto, Canada 11 years ago.
My dream of this country/region is an Abrahamic Union of sorts. Everyone should be able to build, live and travel wherever the spirit calls.
I consider myself a traditional Jew, interested in Jewish Renewal which respects other faiths.
I love historical fiction and history of the people in this region, as well as mysteries such as where did the Temple treasures go? As well as what happened to the lost 10 tribes? And being interested in people who want to convert to Judaism and Islam. What draws them?
I work as a Jewish interfaith coordinator - and am active in many other groups - trying to do the Jewish “light unto the nations” thing. For me that means “tikkun olam” - repairing the world. And this also means taking care of Palestinians’ needs when the Israeli government isn’t doing it.
I’m also trying to set an example for my children and their friends to follow. This is the best example to bring peace to the region.
