She finds it useful to have such a familiar place to return to when traveling to far-flung locations like Egypt, Jordan, Israel, Syria, Russia and China. Miriam spent a year in Cairo and a year in Nazareth, Israel before moving to New York in September 2006 to run the International Education Program of the OneVoice Movement.
