Description: I'm a Canadian of Lebanese and Iraqi heritage, a huge music nerd and a political geek and am trying to figure out ways to be supportive of the struggle for justice both here and abroad as a part of the diaspora without being exploitative, patronizing or resorting to narrowminded patriotism. Stupid and intolerant ideologies are fascinating to me, in a trainwreck kind of way.
