When I read an article on the Financial Times Germany Homepage I had to think of Esra’a's lately comment:
“If you have any rich friends, kiss their asses, get them to help out somehow. $$$$”.

According to a new studie of Financial Times and the management consultancy McKinsey the state-owned oil company Saudi Aramco is the most valuable company in the world. The estimated market value is 781 billion US-$.

So as now we spotted the biggest ass and he even sits right next door, just remain the questions how we become his friend and who gonna kiss his ass.

To become their friends we could make some propaganda (writing untrue stories) for the King. Here is an example:

This year the Saudi King celebrated christmas with a small christian comunity based in Riad. To the surprise of all participants of the lovely ceremony the king himeslf appears as father christmas and brought along the promise to support the community financially by building a new church. (hope you all know the truth, so I do not have to write about it)

I guess there could be a lot of more good news about that country. Feel free and write down what you would like to read about Saudi Arabia or just some proposals how we become his friend.

I am just afraid that there is no empty space at the ass. It is unbelievable how many people are kissing it. Some even started to live on the ass. They are a human kind of leeches and not only kiss the ass but also suck it. They call themself princes.

By the way: Kuwait Petroleum Corporation is on the 4th rank (378 billion $). But that’s another story.

Here I go. I got my password almost a month ago and every week I told myself: come on, just write down some words. It is not that difficult. So now, I do write you from Germany, actually I am even a German. But you guess, not a 100%. So the other half goes back to Syria (or Lebanon where my fathers parents were born).

Just a short cut about me: I am 25 years old, work as an engineer in the automotive industry and try to study arabic.

What am I doing here? First off all I do read your blogs, e-zines, whatever. I really enjoy that. The next level should be that I do write interesting things for you. I was thinking about writing how German society looks at the middle east. Or lets say glimpse at it. While there is a lot of stuff about the ME in the media (mostly bad news), you will not easily find somebody who really cares about it. Maybe that is also a reason why I am sitting in front of my computer. So let’s see what will come to my mind. Maybe things like this:

Just yesterday I watched television with my flatmate and in the news they reported about the “Holocaust-Congress” (I guess it had a different name) in Iran. They also invited some Germans who disown the Holocaust. And of course many others from all over the world who do the same. Actually these people are not allowed to hold speeches in Germany. Now you could ask about the freedom of speech? Well, we do have that but it is less precious than the truth. My flatmate could not belief. He just asked me all the time: “How come that there is a place in the world where something like this can happen.” I don’t know.

Greetings from Germany,
Samer
