I have known them and know how they come at the quietest hour of the night, full armed and accompanied by intelligence agents, to turn the lives of the Palestinian villages and neighborhoods into a constant nightmare; this is what happened to my Christian friend, Dr. Mazin Qumsiyeh, whose jewish friends are probably more than his Palestinian ones. A Human rights activist’s family is terrorized !!!
…………………………………………………………….

The Israeli army invaded our neighborhood at 1:30 AM Tuesday morning waking up my mother, wife and sister. Heavily-armed soldiers blocked roads during “the operation”. When my family opened the door, they demanded to see me. They were told I have already left to the US. After many more questions, they left a paper that states I am to appear at the military liaison office next Monday. My sister and wife told them I will not be back by then. Clearly the warning from that military officer at Ush Ghrab that I mentioned in my last email, was based on knowledge of this.

I guess I am a wanted man now for engaging in nonviolent protest! Those who were at that event and have video, please contact me. What disturbs me is not the risk to me; any action against oppression is taken knowing there are personal risks. What disturbs me is that this has an effect on my family and thousands of friends around the world who care (and some of it unpredictable). My 76 year old mother asks on the phone that I not go back and that I work in the US for a while, a very painful suggestion for a mother to make about her only remaining son near her! I try to assure her that I have done nothing wrong and will not leave her…but she brings up many examples of people who also did not do any violence and were arrested, imprisoned, and their families had to go through a lot.
A friend who heard about this stated I have nothing to worry about, that this was to hassle me to get us to stop being active. Another lost sleep trying to figure out what we can do. I assure her that I will carry on with my speaking tour as planned and that this will blow over one day. (the song “we shall overcome someday” comes to mind).

But I am not different from hundreds of others. Israel is cracking down on all popular/civil resistance activities in Palestine because: 1) there is no armed resistance now, and 2) Civil resistance is escalating and portending a new powerful uprising. Israel’s repression of dissent reinforces in our minds the importance of civil resistance and that there is a price to pay for it. Over 30 activists were arrested in Bilin over the past year, many others in Ni’lin, Al-Ma’sara and elsewhere. The repression reveals the bankruptcy of the Zionist regime and its excessive paranoia that will IMHO eventually lead to its demise.

It is paranoia inherent in the philosophical underpinnings of the ideology. That ideology embraced by a subset of Jews (Zionism) simply teaches that “we are God’s chosen people, He gave us this land, we cannot go wrong when behaving against the Goyim especially those who happen to be here when we arrived to reclaim and cleanse our lands, and International law and human rights laws do not apply to us.” It is self-destructive delusions that are inculcated during early education and perpetuate the myths of uniqueness. It leads to the kind of behaviors that are now difficult to hide (the ethnic cleansing of 1948 was only a beginning). But even some Israelis are shedding these mythologies and joining the struggle. In the end, we will live together despite all this repression.

I have to consider various options in terms of responding to this particular event. If you have any advice, I would appreciate it. My initial thought is that we should intensify our work for peace and human rights in this critical and historic period: write to the media, the politicians, neighbors and anyone who would listen. Below is an action call for March 30th (Land Day) which I urge you to heed. We can’t be neutral on a moving train and there are times whether in the US in the 1950s and 1960s or in South Africa under apartheid, when silence was indeed complicity in crime.
Palestinian BDS National Committee, 1 March 2010. The BDS National Committee (BNC) is calling on you to unite in your different capacities and struggles for a Global BDS Day of Action on 30 March 2010 in solidarity with the Palestinian people and for boycott, divestment and sanctions (BDS) against Israel… <a

Not only they shunned and mocked <a

Last week the zionist death squads peeped again.

in 1987, (not to mention the whole bloody history of the zionist death squads) the British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher “the iron woman” kicked out 13 zionist “diplomts” (as if there are zionist diplomats but not assassins in civilian uniform) for using British passports to kill. There, in one of the Galilee villages, there was a Palestinian peasant who had a stubborn donkey. Both, the peasant and his donkey, lived peacefully ploughing the fields and eat from their land of “honey and milk”. One day, while they were plouhing the field as usual, the donkey stopped to go on, refuse to cooperate with his friend and owner. The farmer begged him to continue, to finish he field, otherwise they both wouldn’t have enough to eat, but the donkey didn’t listen and kept stubbornly standing, refusing to take any further step that would bridge the gap. The farmer got angry and threatened the donkey, but the donkey insisted on his point of view and rejected all of the farmer’s promises of “peace” an “prosperous future”. Then the farmer got very angry and started beating the poor animal, but there was no sign of “future agreement” between the “two parties”. The farmer got harsher and kept battering the “terrorist” donkey who refused all the “peace” offers.

For the donkey’s luck, a British troop was passing by and saw the fight. The British soldiers felt pity for the poor donkey and approached yelling at the farmer. Another fight started and the soldiers battered the farmer badly for his “inhuman” treatment of the donkey, and went on in their way. The farmer, frustrated and angry of both the donkey and the soldiers, started beating the donkey again yelling at him: “Why didn’t you tell me you have relatives in London?”

The story, just like history, does repeat itself again, but this time in a brand-new postmodern way; well-organized in a kind of “charity” with constitution, colorful papers and handouts, computerized statistics and sharp stuff !!!

Two months ago, a friend of mine (who is the chief of the local council of a neighboring village) asked me if I can meet a European delegate of “Animals Rights” charity and guide them through the village. I apologized telling him that I really don’t have time for such animals, sorry benevolent humans !!!

Later, my friend asked me to design and write a gratitude certificate (a paper that looks like a University Certificate but has both the local council’s and the Charity’s logos on it) in order for him to send it to that “humanitarian” (but animalistic) Charity !!! He explained to me how they came; a huge delegate with 4-wheels jeeps, equipments, medicine and donkeys’ luxury stuff !!! They were professionals on Donkeys and only serve the “Donkeys (Human) Rights”… they took a tour around the village to visit their “kins” of the Donkeys, they healed some sick donkeys, and had a good impression of how we (the primitives) deal with their “relatives”, the humans !!!!

I just wonder, in God’s sake, how many zionist checkpoints they passed to reach this remote village? How many walls and borders they crossed to take care of their “relatives”? Didn’t they see how the Palestinians are treated like donkeys (apology for the donkeys) under the zionist occupation, how they are captured in the zoo of Gaza? Why, the donkeys have “Human Rights” while the Palestinians still (after 100 years of both the British and the Zionist occupation) deprived from the basic “Donkeys Rights”?

I am sure that the next Palestinian elections will witness the right for the Donkeys to vote and even compete for presidency, but what I am certain of is that the next Palestinian president (according to the West electoral standards) will be a Donkey that has kinship to London !!! Praised be the Almighty Donkeys that have kinship to London !!!

Sami, the Bedouin.

Iran and the West Dilemma !!!

General

Iran

Iraq

Nuclear Energy Technology

Palestine

Zionism
<guid

I just wonder WHY? Why an Iranian would denounce his own country and help the West to enslave his people under the false American propaganda of “Human rights” and “democracy”. Are we blind enough not to see how the western governments are blind to human rights when it comes to Arabs and muslims? Cant we see how the west are backing the Nuclear zionest entity while depriving the arabs from any opportunity to develop in any area of science? Why the West backed the racist South Africa with the Nuclear weapons but dispowered it when it became democratic?

How come America back the nuclear, racist and occupying regime of the zionist entity while fighting the Islamic Iran? Why the WEST is so hypocrite regarding human rights? Why “democracy” and “human rights” are used against muslims but the zionists are allowed to do all the crimes against the indigenous Palestinians? Why some of us, specially some mislead Iranians are working against the development and the power of their own country?

Here, is an interview ( by Kourosh Ziabari) with the great American intellectual Prof. Naom Chomsky that would shed some light on the hypocrisy of the West. I just chose it to show the other side of the coin, out and way from the hypocritical discourse of the American canned “human rights” and “democracy” !!!
…………………………………
In this interview I talked to Prof. Chomsky about Iran, nuclear issue, Washington-Tehran relations and the global impact of Zionist lobbies. An excerpt of this conversation was first published by the Iran’s leading English language daily Tehran Times.

Q: Prof. Chomsky; You have reiterated several times that the majority of world countries, including the members of Non-Alignment Movement, support the nuclear dossier of Iran, yet the American neo-cons are still trumpeting their hawkish mottos. Why?

A: Not only the non-aligned movement, but also the large majority of Americans believe that Iran has the right to develop nuclear energy. But almost no one in the U.S. is aware of this. That includes those who are polled, and probably think they are the only ones who hold these beliefs. Nothing is ever published about it. What appears in the media, constantly, is that the “international community” demands that Iran stop uranium enrichment. Almost nowhere is it brought out that the term “international community” is used conventionally to refer to Washington and whoever happens to go along with it, not just on this issue, but quite generally.

Q: Most of the analysts of international affairs cannot still digest the nuclear double standards of the U.S. government. While supporting the atomic arsenal of Israel, U.S. continuously pressures Iran to halt its civilian nuclear programs. What are the reasons? Does the IAEA have the authority to probe into the cases of Israel’s atomic weaponry?

chomskyA: The basic point was explained very candidly by Henry Kissinger. He was asked by the Washington Post why he now claims that Iran does not need nuclear energy so it must be working on building a bomb, while in the 1970s he insisted forcefully that Iran needs nuclear energy and the U.S. must provide the Shah with the means to develop it. His answer was pure Kissinger: “They were an allied country” so they needed nuclear energy. Now they are not an ally, so they do not need nuclear energy. As for Israel, it is an ally, more accurately a client state. So they inherit from the master the right to do as they please.

The IAEA has the authority, but the US would never permit them to exercise it. The new U.S. administration has given no indication that it is any different.

Q: There are 4 sovereign states which have not yet ratified the NPT and freely pursue atomic weapons. Will Iran be extricated from the frequent pressures; should it halt its ratification and withdraw from the treaty?

A: No, that would simply escalate the pressures. Apart from North Korea, all of these countries receive extensive U.S. support. The Reagan administration pretended it did not know that its ally Pakistan was developing nuclear weapons, so that the dictatorship could receive massive U.S. aid. The U.S. has agreed to assist India in developing its nuclear facilities, and Israel is a special case.

Q: What probable factors may hamper the establishment of direct talks between Iran and the U.S.? Is the influence of Israeli lobby over the corporate regime of America a major one?

A: The Israeli lobby has some influence, but it is limited. That was demonstrated in the case of Iran, once again, last summer, during the presidential campaign, the time when the influence of lobbies is at its peak. The Israeli Lobby wanted Congress to pass legislation that came close to calling for a blockade of Iran, an act of war. The measure gained considerable support, but then suddenly disappeared, probably because the White House made it clear, quietly, that it was opposed.

As for the actual factors, we do not yet have adequate internal records, so it is necessary to speculate. We do know that a large majority of Americans want to have normal relations with Iran, but public opinion rarely influences policy. Major US corporations, including the powerful energy corporations, would like to be able to exploit Iran’s petroleum resources. But the state insists otherwise. I presume that the main reason is that Iran is just too independent and disobedient. Great powers do not tolerate that in what they take to be their domains, and the world’s major energy-producing regions have long been considered the domain of the Anglo-American alliance, now with Britain reduced to junior partner.

Q: Will there be a tactical or systematical transformation in the approach of American mainstream media toward Iran during the tenure of Mr. Obama? Should we expect a cut-off in the mass of anti-Iranian black propaganda?

A: The media generally adhere fairly closely to the general framework of state policy, though policies are sometimes criticized on tactical grounds. A lot, therefore, depends on the stand that the Obama administration will take.

Q: And finally, do you believe that the U.S. President should follow the Iranian proposal and apologize for its historical crimes against Iran?

A: I think that the powerful should always concede their crimes and apologize to the victims, in fact go much farther and provide reparations. Unfortunately, the world is largely governed by the maxim of Thucydides: the strong do as they wish, and the weak suffer as they must. Slowly, over time, the world is becoming more civilized, in general. But there is a long way to go.

Death Cry- Part Three

General

israel zionism settlement shalom palestine west bank peace love jews jew

jail

palestine tribalism bedouin peace gaza negev zionism nazism
<guid

Waiting, Oh!… I don’t know why it came to me to remember a phrase that was written by hand on a table in on one of the city restaurants. I read it while I was waiting for Sonia one evening… (the best things come to those who wait.) ..the phrase was written neatly. It seemed that whoever had written the note had waited a long time before his girl finally came, so he must have written it slowly while expecting her to come. I laughed and felt the hot tears washing my soul. Waiting? Shucks! A wait in which you die every minute for a big warm hug, to throw your head on the velvet shoulders smelling the sweet scent of the swelling bosom.

What a vanity! When would the stab come? How would they thrust it into your stomach??? Sheikh Buddha wouldn’t endure for long, and if he did, they would not leave him alone, they would tear his soul apart until he bought into their game. He would not be able to stand it. I knew him as I know the palm of my own hand, I knew how to read his face and soul perfectly over the last three months. When we decided to start the hunger strike, he agreed at first, but then retreated quickly as if stung by a snake, as if receiving his revelation suddenly. He said the hunger strike is forbidden, it is a slow suicide, and who dies will be thrown into hell on his face!

Did I wait for a long time? I don’t know, but I think they brought him back after four or five hours scratching the floor noisily with his shoes. He sat murmuring his prayers. I asked him no question but I left him to have a rest as I watched him. Surely he knew that I was longing to hear his report. He kept silent for a long time. Never mind! I will wait until he finishes his silent prayers. I am not going to start talking but will let him take his time. After a while, he turned his head slowly to look directly at me; I knew he wanted to torture me by that sullen look, he wanted me to ask, but I will not. He looked at me stubbornly for a long time but finally, he said hesitatingly, as if he was tearing the words out of his lips:

-“They….announced… that… he committed suicide.”
-“How !!!”
-“They…. forced.. me … to hear the radio news.”
-“What!”
-“It …said… that…. a prisoner committed suicide in Jnaid jail.”
-“Damn it ! So fast !!” I said helplessly.
-“ It said also that the authorities formed an investigation committee.”
-“The bastards! How come?”

Buddha said nothing but kept looking at me with his rheumy, scared, weak eyes. ‘What is there behind your languid eyes, Sheikh?’ I thought to myself. ‘What is behind those lashes my dear!! Thousands of questions are already hidden behind those stupid prayers… you are not going to betray me.. their deception was pretty enough to kill us all, don’t crush me more by your wondering look of an old fox!!!’ I cant stand waiting.. it always killed me to wait !!

-“So???” I asked loathingly. I wanted to discover more of the inside space of his mind, to see where I fitted inside it exactly. Then, as if he was forced to confess, finally after an exhausting long round he said crest-fallenly:
-“They… want…. us…. to co-operate with the committee.”
-“So??”

Again, the Sheikh didn’t reply but kept gazing at me, entreating, his eyes glistening with childish tears, until he buried his face in his hands and burst into sobs. Through his sobbing, he murmured poignant cries:
-“What sin did I do to deserve all of this??? What in heaven can I do?… I… want to… get out of here… I… did nothing to be here…”, and again he broke out with hysterical wails.
I interrupted him – and shouted in anguish in his face:
-“Your sin? What do I do then? What did Kifah do? You are coward, for hell’s sake!!”

I felt crushed, I was so miserable, yet burning with internal rage. I felt my heart bleeding, sad to death. I didn’t want to be harsh with Buddha. By Jove, I didn’t want to be any more sadistic to him, but I was raging with fury at him, at myself and the whole world. The blood of Kifah hadn’t dried yet, and they were already bargaining over it. No, never!!… If killing the sheikh could solve the problem, I felt like I wouldn’t hesitate to wring his neck, but he was just like me, thrown here, in this cell, sucking up the dirt of the whole world, feeling the horror creeping into his neck, waking up every night with nightmares of ghosts, skeletons and cut-heads !!!

Time? What is the use of time? It felt like a giant crushing wheel rolling over you to smash your skull, suffocating you, drying your blood, with your chest getting narrower with every passing minute, your eyes rolling in their place until you even lose sense of your own head and your body becomes a useless sack of dirt.

The sheikh became quiet slowly, and stopped wailing as he lay on his face putting his head to the other side of the cell. Finally he was silent. He didn’t move for a long time, his face still buried in his hands. I thought he had fallen asleep, taking a rest for a while from his obsessive nightmares, but then he accosted me with a choked voice as if talking through a pipe, with his face still buried:

-“Be careful, you are their target.”
-“How did you know?” I asked loathingly.
-“I heard Isra saying: ‘that fucken big-mouthed atheist must be silenced.’”
-“So?”
-“I don’t know… I am just warning you.”
-“Damn it… what more would they do?”

Does it matter to take care or not while being in the middle of a battle, Sheikh Buddha? What miserable fate is waiting for you when you jump to avoid a shell only to land on top of a mine? How can you retreat among those hellish tanks heading your way? No!… no dear.. caution has no meaning in the dictionary of the cells, there is only bare confrontation. Retreat means death, escape means suicide. You have to go ahead, always ahead until you get out of the mine-field, or you die, and there your dead body will rot.

To be continued

Sami, the bedouin.

Death Cry- Part Two !!!

General

Arab

Arabs

IDF

Islam

Israel

Jews

Middle East

Palestine

Palestinian

Palestinians

peace

Religion

settlements

Terrorism

water

Zionist
<guid

Oh merciful God! Who’s that god you extend your hands to Sheikh Buddha? Can he hear you? Does he see? … God forgive! Oh Great God of the celestial throne, where are you now??

I looked up into the extensive sky were the Sheikh was extending his hands, but I saw nothing, nothing at all but the endless roof of the cell opening into a narrow armoured hole. I dazed into the roof, dived into the endless extension, the roof disappeared, I got into the clouds, and crossed the seven skies. I opened my eyes widely, inhaled the humid celestial air until it washed my soul. I saw God finally, by Jove I saw Him; I saw Him, I begged Him, I kissed His feet wetting them with my tears but he didn’t pay attention to me. He was standing as if delivering a speech, frowning, foaming as he shouted, waiving His hands angrily, knocking on a table before Him; was He protesting the lost world or threatening a harsh punishment ??? I tried to catch a word of His speech, Oh God, just one word!, but I couldn’t, it all was but a silent god.

Silence, utter silence!! Why all this brooding silence! Am I deafened? No…no, I cant believe !!! THE WORD OF GOD, has to boom like a thunder strike in this lost world! Why? Why is this silent protest? To whom God is speaking? Isn’t there any listener? I looked toward where God was heading his speech expecting to find the endless crowd of audience. I expected to see the face of Kifah there looking directly into the eyes of God, demanding him to revenge!! I turned my head nervously to see the crowd but I was astonished to see nobody, nothing at all but the endless extension of the desert. Oh, no!!! To whom God is speaking, casting his word? I wondered who echoed the Word? No, not the desert… no… never !!!

“There’s no god but Allah!!… Oh revengeful Allah!!” I was startled to hear that hoarse voice and turned my head to see Sheikh Buddha still muttering his prayers. I looked around the cell… Damn it, where is Kifah? Did he ascent to heaven? I cant believe!! I jumped standing and looked at Buddha wondering:

-“ Where’s Kifah, Sheikh?”
-“ They took him back.”
-“ How? When?”
-“ Half an hour ago, you were asleep.”

“Shit!!”… I mumbled and looked up at the hole in the ceiling but it was futile to guess the time. It was very dark, but I bet it was dawn or a bit before that.

I am sure they will start their dirty game soon, they will not wait until the morning; they would take one of us for interrogation, to fabricate the usual story of suicide, or they might accuse one of us of killing him for collaborating. They will wash their hands perfectly and spread them to dry up from the blood of Kifah. Bastards!! Surely they are scheming their plot now but whose turn will be the next?

Kifah died, killed, nothing remained from him but his memory. He used to lean his thin lean body against the wall and talk for long hours without stopping. A childish simple talk. Sometimes he irritated me with his consecutive question, those naïve questions about interrogation; how long would it last? When we will get out? What shall we do?… He thought that I am a big store of answers, and that I knew all that he didn’t. He used to end his questions and wait a little, looking at me: “Ha!… what do you think?… surely you know…. You have been into jail several times and have a long experience….” … Oh! What can I tell you, Kifah? How can I answer you? Is there a law for their eccentric behavior? No, no… there has never been a law but it is absolute nonsense, utter tyranny!! You, yourself told me once that your life is the chaos of mere haphazard chances, those crazy chaotic chances of being shuffled, plucked out of your place to be thrown in the middle of nowhere!! Is there a law for chance? Can you predict the grand lottery?

We didn’t wait for a long time. The sound of feet came stamping on the floor, getting closer every further step to stop finally by the stubborn door. The sound of the keys and the chain clanged ominously. A short jailer opened the door. I got ready to stand, I felt that my real battle had started, every thing is over now, nothing remained but bare confrontation. I will face them with my teeth, spit in their faces. I stood up on my feet but the jailer overtook me saying: “No not you”, then headed toward Buddha who stood up sluggishly. He handcuffed him and dragged him out by his shirt and closed the door.

The stamping feet went away slowly. I heard Buddha’s feet rapping at the floor confusedly. The sound perishes to die out finally. Silence enfolds me to wait the ghost of the unknown. I dazed at the wall which looked like a great giant spreading his hands to block my way, my vision.

To be continued

Sami, the beouin

Neta Golan: Jewish Blood with Pure Palestinian Heart !!!

Palestine

My name is Neta Golan. I was born in Tel Aviv. My childhood was scary, and simple. There were good guys and bad guys. We were the good guys. The bad guys… could be anyone, but they were mostly Arabs. Now I’m a 3rd generation Israeli: my grandmother was born in what was still called Palestine. My mother was born in 1948. And yet, I grew up in the shadow of the holocaust. It was always my reference point, for everything.

As a child, I met Palestinians. They were there, working in construction or sanitation. But there was never a chance to meet as equals. Instead there were fears, being fed by the media, by what we learned in school. I learned always that we were defending ourselves from people who wanted to kill us.

It wasn’t until I was 15 years old that I learned of the occupation. It was during the first intifada, because before the first intifada Palestinians, the occupation, simply didn’t exist to us. The first intifada made it impossible for Israelis to ignore Palestinians. But I was raised on Jewish history, a history of oppression, dispossession, suffering ethnic cleansing, of being forced out of community after community. Could we really be doing these things to another people?

I couldn’t believe it because I was a part of the consensus opinion in Israel, that we are morally superior. They are violent. We have purity of arms. If we do kill a civilian or an innocent, it’s by mistake. Even if these mistakes happen every single day. I didn’t believe it until I saw it with my own eyes. I refused to believe that a soldier would open fire on an innocent child, but I saw it. Unfortunately in Nablus where I live, I see it too often. When I would hear about a child being killed by a soldier, I would think-no, he must have thrown a stone, he must have been doing something that endangered the soldier and forced the soldier to shoot back. I wanted to believe that the children were throwing stones. But when you are in the West Bank, and you see a child throw a stone at a tank, you understand that if that child is killed, that is murder. And very recently, 5 internationals were with Baha, one of the children who we knew well, and soldiers in an armoured personnel carrier picked him out from among the internationals, shot him twice in the chest, and killed him.

As a child I wouldn’t have been able to believe this. I would say-the proof of their violence is suicide bombing! We would never do something like that. One of my classmates asked me: what’s the difference between a suicide bombing and a Phantom jet bombing a refugee camp? I said-we don’t bomb refugee camps. I couldn’t believe the only difference between us and them was that we had better weapons. But I went home and asked my father.

“Is it true that we bomb refugee camps with Phantom Jets?”
“Yes. The terrorists think they can hide in the refugee camps, so we prove that they cannot” he told me.

But that wasn’t even enough to change me, because the conditioning runs very deep. So deep that when I first went to the West Bank, during Oslo, I would have anxiety attacks. Once a week I would go, and every trip I would be filled with anxiety, filled with fear, thinking: “they all want to kill me!” And it took at least fifteen minutes of seeing people going about their business, talking to each other, working, doing almost anything other than thinking about how much they wanted to kill me, before I calmed down. Seeing their openness, their willingness to accept me, their generosity, that has been the greatest gift of overcoming my fear-the chance to discover the wisdom, the beauty of the Palestinian people. Israelis who can’t overcome their fear are much poorer for not having the chance to do that.

After a year and a half of this anxiety, it mostly went away. But as soon as things changed, when the political situation would become worse, I would fall back on that conditioning and become afraid again. In 2000, when the second intifada broke out, I was afraid. I was in Nablus and asked my fiancé, am I being paranoid because I’m afraid? He said: “yes!”

I am still shocked, sometimes, to discover what my government does, and to discover who the Palestinians really are and what they are really like.

During the Oslo peace process, I thought, along with most Israelis: “this is wonderful!” Because in Israel, there was peace. But when I heard from the Palestinians, I learned that there was not peace. There were, instead, settlements, losses in freedom of movement. Overnight in 1991 Palestinians lost the right to go to East Jerusalem without a permit. East Jerusalem is the capital-the heart-of Palestine in every way: politically, culturally, spiritually, economically. Overnight they lost the chance to go there and in 1993 with the peace process, they waited to get their chance back. The resistance to occupation basically stopped. But peace never came. What came instead were the bypass roads, settler roads that surrounded all the communities, with the checkpoints and roadblocks.

Thanks to the bypass roads and checkpoints, it isn’t just difficult to travel between cities in the West Bank: it’s illegal. This wasn’t the case even during the first intifada. Today the West Bank has been under siege, under curfew, for months and months. It’s possible for the army to besiege the West Bank in this way because of the infrastructure of the bypass roads that was built during the ‘peace process’.

People saw that the peace process was a smokescreen and that on the ground, the occupation was expanding. Palestinians would tell me, first, ‘nothing has changed, but we’re waiting for things to get better.’ Next, they would say ‘things aren’t changing, and we can’t stand this.’ For years I tried to tell Israelis that there was no peace process. Most Israelis didn’t want to hear it. They would say-these things take time. And when you have a job, a home, freedom, you have time. But when you have none of these things, for 7 years, as Palestinians didn’t have, you don’t feel like you have time.

I remember in 1997, Prime Minister Netanyahu made the decision to build a settlement around occupied East Jerusalem, Har Homa. East Jerusalem is the capital of Palestine, but it had been surrounded by Israeli settlements. Har Homa was the final link in a chain that would totally surround East Jerusalem with settlements. For the Palestinians, this was read as proof that the peace process was over. There were nonviolent protests. Palestinians and Israelis joined in. Feisal Husseini and others were there. The mountain that was to become Har Homa was squatted by activists.

Netanyahu gave the order to storm the mountain, kick the demonstrators off it, and bulldoze all the trees on the mountain to make room for the settlement.

The night that happened I was devastated. Again I talked to my father, who supported the decision.

“We can’t allow them to tell us where we can and can’t build,” he said.

I’m not a prophet, but I knew hopelessness, desperation, when I saw it. And I saw it then.

“But what if there’s another suicide bomber?” There hadn’t been one in some time, by that time.

He told me that it was a “calculated risk.”

Hours later there was a suicide bombing. “Do you still think it was the right decision?” I asked him. “Yes, it was a calculated risk.” I couldn’t believe it, but I thought “he’s upset, as I am, shocked by the bombing, he doesn’t mean that.”

Hours after that, our phone rang. My father answered the phone and when he hung up he was pale. My cousin had been killed in the bombing.

My father took back what he said about the calculated risk-I shouldn’t have said that, he told me. “But the only person responsible is the bastard who did it.”

The only person responsible. The “calculated risk” had disappeared. The context had disappeared. Just the bomber was responsible.

And the bomber was responsible. But so was Netanyahu’s settlement policy. And the Israeli government, who are willing to pay the price– even in Israeli blood, my cousin’s blood– for maintaining and expanding the occupation.

And the international community, as well, for not reacting. In Israel, I was shocked at the international community’s non-reaction. We kept thinking-there’s no way the international community is going to put up with this. But they did. And they do, still.

The Palestinian nonviolent movement today faces an unprecedented situation, a level of violence that is unimaginable. The Israelis don’t see it. I want to show you a day of siege in Jenin, basically a ‘non-news’ item, where tanks roll around, shooting in the streets to announce curfew as people run in fear. This happens every single day and it’s not news because most journalists don’t leave Jerusalem except occasionally to go to Ramallah or Bethlehem.

In an environment like this, people won’t join a nonviolent movement. That’s why we need internationals. We need people to join, to bring the attention of the international community to the situation. The intifada started with children throwing stones. They were answered with snipers. Some Palestinians reacted to this violence by shooting attacks on soldiers and settlers. They were systematically assassinated, starting in Beit Sahour, and nearly every assassination killed innocent bystanders as well.

I’m often in Balata refugee camp, and I want to believe that Israel believes that its actions are going to stop resistance but they have to know that they are making the situation so intolerable that non-resistance is a non-option. There were no suicide bombers from Balata until May of this year. In May there were assassinations of two young men who were Palestinian fighters, members of the armed resistance. For the people in these camps, these fighters were heroes who were defending their people. It was 4 days after these assassinations that a wave of 7 suicide bombers came from Balata.

The oldest of these bombers was eighteen.

The operations were poorly organized. Many of them blew up on the way, failed in their missions. They were obviously acts of pure desperation. The Israeli Army knows they can’t stop attacks like these. Arafat certainly can’t stop them.

But there is one thing that can stop them. Hope.

In the first intifada, tens of thousands of Palestinians marched for an end to occupation. There were some bombings-but Palestinians stopped them. When Prime Minister Barak wanted to have elections in an atmosphere of quiet, he got his quiet by lifting the siege and opening up a few roadblocks. That was all it took. How can he have his breakfast without remembering those hanged the whole night to come and start a new round with them!! How can he sleep with his wife or girlfriends without hearing the moaning of the tortured prisoners!! How does the food taste in his mouth while hungering others in interrogation cells !!! How can he smile wile the screaming of the tortured is reasoning in his hollow head? I cant imagine him to be a human being !!!
This is not an imaginary situation but it happens and happened for me a few days ago as part of my crazy life!! In Jenin, “the capital of terrorism”, everything is possible, even that one beyond imagination. The intermingling between the ruling and unruling powers, between the different social classes, between the “criminals” and the “law keepers” to the degree you cant tell who’s who nor which is which !!! The intimate close social relation between people is unbelievable and leaves no room for you but to have a full rainbow of friends starting from a :”recruited CIA” agent to a “Terrorist”, from a mayor to the garbage collector (as I do respect the laters), from a mean interrogator to a peaceful religious interrogator !!

It happens as it always happens with me as my friend keeps smiling in my face whenever we meet and rebukes me asking: “When are going to repent and start to know God?”, as if I am a relentless criminal or a mass-killer!! This friend, a peaceful religious one, thinks I am an astray person (and he’s partially right) and have to repent from my blasphemous sins. God for him is the core center of the circle, but for me I am completely out of the circle !!!

A few weeks ago, in a meeting of local and international NGOs (as I deeply believe that these NGOs are just agents for alien intelligence agencies, specially after 9/11), I had a fight with a mayor over a matter that touches the simple people’s daily life, and later I was threatened to be imprisoned for 90 days. The funny in this is that this “law” is back to the British Mandate through which the British colonizers imprisoned Palestinians administratively without trial for 90 days, and this law for those who had proven to have no guilt at all… and for our luck, the PA is reviving this British “law” again, and it is used whenever they wish to, and for sure the CIA trainers know that perfectly as they copy all the PA’s computer files periodically (as one of the PS informed us lately)!!

In our neighborhood, there is a garbage collector, a very simple one that I know since ages. Over the time, as he passes by in his job, and I am sitting in my terrace, we used to chat and have coffee, and sometimes I help him cleaning my yard and give him whatever I can save … This year, I discovered that he started to go to the city in a daily basis, and this luxury of daily traveling needs extra salary, and through another “security” friend, I know that this “garbage collector” has another job with the security agents as he visit the security office on a daily basis to deliver his verbal report… Then, I sat with him the next time he came and asked him if I ever hurt him. He replied (as expected) with no. then I told him not to come anymore to my house other than a garbage collector… we are no more friends !!

The “mean interrogator” is also a friend that I know since ages. Some people are funny and amusing when you sit with them… and this fat friend was like this, until lately I discovered he is totally different at his work, specially after he was promoted to a “higher” rank !!

I didn’t know (as he never told) that this amiable person is a mean interrogator at work, and for what? To please his boss? The hell…. But he got his payback as he was shot in his leg last week( and as you know, in the “capital of terrorism” everything is possible) but thanks to Mr. Keith Dayton who, with the help of such persons, is working to restore “the rule of law” here !! Funny, the rule of law under occupation, the rule of occupation actually !!!

This “friend” used to use harsh means of interrogation with the prisoners (and they are mostly of Hamas), whom, as it is clear, the prisoners put him on their “honor” list !! No interrogator can be a friend, not for me anyway… and I will strike him out from my “honor” list, to be listed in another honor list…. Awaiting, probably, for the next intifada… that there can never be “rule of law” under occupation, and who believes that he can control an occupied people is deluded and deluding…. The Lesson of Vietnam and South Lebanon should be learnt very will, that the occupiers and their collaborators must be kicked out sooner or later… but some people don’t get the lesson even after they are put on the “honor” list !!!

Sami, the Bedouin.

The UNRWA: 60 Years of Hypocratic Discourse and Lying !!!

General

Israel

Jordan

Lebanon

Middle East

Palestine

Palestine UNRWA refugee refugees zionism Britain British israel Nakba zionism ethnic cleansing
<guid

Why has the UNRWA failed in its “humanitarian” work? To what extent is the UNRWA itself responsible for founding and creating the Palestinian ongoing suffering? What has been the real role of the UNRWA since it was founded ?

In order to understand the role of the UNRWA in managing, if not participating in creating, our eternal misery, a critical way of thinking and analyzing is needed. There is an urgent need for a historic preview and review for the core of the UNRWA’s “benevolent” aids. When and who established the UNRWA? How it was established and for what purpose? To what degree it has succeeded and how it has failed?

The hypocritical discourse of the UNRWA would tell you that they have done a great “human work” in aiding the Palestinian refugees in all aspects of their life (and they did) starting form urgent aids of food to working programs, helping the refugees to settle (tents, materials and whatever), educational aids of building schools and managing them plus training the stuff… hospitals and mobile clinics…. and all what you can dream of “human” aids in your nightmares !! Fine, great “human” job!!

Following the 1948 Arab-Israeli conflict, UNRWA, the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East, was established by United Nations General Assembly resolution 302 (IV) of 8 December 1949 to carry out direct relief and works programmes for the Palestinian refugees.

However, this superficial discourse of hypocrisy doesnt work anymore. There’s a crucial need for a more rational and real analysis based on a historic overview of how, when and why the UNRWA was established.

Historical context:

It took the British Colonizers only and exactly thirty years to accomplish their promise to evacuate Palestine from its natives and bring Zionist settlers in their place starting from their Balfour Declaration in 1917 up to declaring the “state de facto” of the Zionist entity in the Partition Plan in 1947!!! From the very beginning the British Government was aware of what they are doing as they were hectic in devastating the Palestinian social, economic and national structure while building and reinforcing (with the help of the Zionist World Movement) a strong and modern Zionist society with stable economy and powerful army on the rubbles of the intentionally and systematically devastated Palestinian society.

By the end of WW2, the Palestinians society was lurching and exhausted due to the British constant suppression, specially during the 1936 uprising and upward, and the Zionist attacks. In 1947, the Palestinian society was completely exhausted and depleted with no clear leadership nor any ability to resist the coming Zionist ethnic cleansing which was clear to be done even before UN declared the Zionist state.

It was clear for the “benevolent” UN what is going on in Palestine and the most important it was full aware of what will happen in the coming year; almost a month before Partition Plan (through which Palestine was divided into two states) and even before establishing the UNRWA, the UN established the UNRPR fund in preparation for funding ethnically cleansing Palestine from its natives, that they were fully aware of the cost of the devastation they (with the help of the Zionist terrorist gangs) are going to accomplish in the following year of 1948, the year in which most of the ethnic cleansing was accomplished and funded by the UN and later managed by the UNRWA !!!

The UNRWA role in ethnic cleansing:

Lots of the Palestinian leaders were aware of the dirty work the UNRWA was established to do, like what Samihah Khalil (the former presidential candidate) siad in the early 50s that the UNRWA is bribing the Palestinian refugees to stay away in the diaspora and not to fight back home!!

However,

Three major parties played a decisive role in preparing for, and accomplishing, the ethnic cleansing of the native Palestinians after depleting their power and national structure, these parties are; the Zionist terrorist groups, the British-led Arab Legion (which was responsible for protecting the eastern boundaries of the colonized Palestine) and the UN (with its different funds and agencies)

The Zionist terrorists were to do the dirty job of massacring the exhausted natives and terrorizing them to run away leaving their homes and land. During 1948 lots of massacres were committed by the Zionist groups such as the massacres of Deir-Yassin, Gebia, and lots of others in which they intended to expel the natives and demolish their villages (as there were over 540 villages were demolished) to prevent the exhausted and terrorized villagers from fighting back !!

The British-led Arab-Legion (the army of TranJordan led by L. Gen Glubb) was to facilitate the ethnic cleansing during the theatrical war of 1948, and to prevent the already expelled villagers from coming back fighting for their existence. The Arab-Legion was the strongest Arab forces (though it was far more weak than the British supported and facilitated Zionist Army) and the only one that can wage and maneuver attacks against the Zionist army. Though there ware courageous and great individual fighting and sacrifice of the Arab-Legion specially around Jerusalem, the role of this British-led force is to facilitate evacuation Palestine from the natives and prevent the already expelled from fighting back as they asked the Palestinians to run away to Jordan for a few weeks till they (the British-led Legion) liberate Palestine for them !!! This way, and before the 1948 theatrical war, the Arab-Legion helped expelling the Palestinians from their homes!!! Funny and theatrical history of the 1948 Nakba !!!

The third party, which is our beloved UNRWA, (as the executive arm of the UN) also had a decisive planned role in evacuating Palestine for the sake of the Zionist settlers, and also to manage a permanent life for them away from their demolished villages and stolen land !!!

As we mentioned before, in 1947 (even before declaring the Division Plan, and at the time most of the Palestinians were still in their villages living a semi-normal life and still not ethnically cleansed yet) the UN was fully aware of what they are preparing to and what is going to happen in the next year, the year of the actual ethnic cleansing. In preparation for this, the UN first established the UNRPR fund to facilitated cleansing the Palestinians, and second, (pursuant to expelling the vast majority of the Palestinian people) established our beloved UNRWA !!!

The UNRWA role was to help the Palestinians manage their misery away from their home, to let them forget about their stolen homeland, to prevent them from fighting back to their homes and villages !!! It was clear for the UNRWA that its role was created to last, was created to manage the misery of those refugees, to keep them away in the Diaspora… and accordingly its “benevolent” aids were to be dedicated to create a permanent infrastructure for the refugees to stay into the misery they were expelled to, for the refugees to start a new life leaving their land and homes for the Zionist colonizers!! This was the sole and the only reason for which the UNRWA was established; to manage (the crisis of) the misery of the Palestinian refugees away from their homeland and to facilitate creating Israel. Its role is to clean the miss that the Zionist terrorist created, to clean the blood-smeared Zionist hands from our blood, to take off the economic and the moral burden off the Zionist terrorists… otherwise how can we explain what the UNRWA is doing since 60 years? What have they done to prevent the holocaust of Gaza lately other than cleaning the mess the Zionist have committed? Helping to silence the Palestinian refugees with trash of “humanitarian” aids after the Zionist couldn’t silence them with their terror !!!

After 60 years of constant lying and hypocritical discourse, I got the right to ask; What has the UNRWA done to me personally other than managing my eternal misery? What is hidden under their magical hat to surprise me with and silence me more, for me to swallow the bitter taste of stealing my home while, still after 60 years, I still live a few kilometers away from my demolished home, and still they bring Russian “jews” (if they are jewish, anyway) settlers to enjoy my garden !!! What has the UNRWA been doing other than silencing me, managing my misery and facilitating the establishment of the Zionist entity on my own homeland, and cleaning off the mess the Zionist terrorists commit every couple of years ???

Sami, the Bedouin.

“Kill the Children”: The Bestseller Book in Israel

Israel

Palestine/Israel

Intifada

Israeli

Jew

Jewish State

Judaism

Palestine

Palestinian

Zionism

Zionist

-“Shut up, dirty pig! Not before breakfast.” roared the zionist jailor who was tapping the corridor behind the massive iron door.
It was chilling hot and I was all sweating in that oven of a cell.

The cell was rectangular, too narrow to enfold the three of us; Kifah, me and a religious colleague who had a soft lean beard but he looks like a Buddhist monk now after they had shaved his hair and beard the next day they brought him in. He became ugly and comic at the same time and I started calling him “Sheikh Buddha” which irritated him a lot but I didn’t stop.

By the door, there was what can be called a “toilet” and it was a big deal when one of us was obliged to do it. At first we started to turn our faces away until he finishes but later Kifah gave up half of his rug and we managed to put it as a curtain. I started to wonder how our primitive ancestors used to do it and wither it was shame or forbidden to do it in front of each others, or was it a matter of civilization that was solved centuries later !!!

There was no use to ask such a silly question but I was lucky to sleep beside the door catching some fresh breeze. I was the shortest, so I was chosen to sleep there wedged between the door and the so-called toilet. I was happy to be the closest to the “out-world” but I was more happy to be as far as I could from “sheikh Buddha”. Puh! What a sluggish ghost! I hated him to death specially when I am to be left alone with him as they take Kifah for interrogation.

Still there is a long time for Kifah to come; they will not bring him before dawn and it is still around midnight. Buddha is snoring heavily now after getting tired of asking for water. Silence, the killing silence save the snoring Buddha. Oh! How can I sleep? They will not bring him before dawn. It’s been over a week now since they started the new round with Kifah; a soldier or two come at evening to take him there until early morning. They bring him back at the time of dawn call-prayer or a little bet after that dragging himself to lean against the wall to tell us a few words of his night then slumbers asleep as he sat there.

I didn’t pay attention when they opened the massive door, two zionist jailors came pulling Kifah between them, one cracked the door open noisily and the other pushed him strongly inside to stumble falling on his face on the harsh floor and it was useless to stop his falling body by my hands. They closed the door and withdrew silently without uttering a word.

I drew him and leaned his sagging body against the wall; he was fading and a shade of death swept over his childish face, he couldn’t open his eyes and his head sagged over his chest like a slaughtered goat. His hair was soaking wet and he was trembling like a little bird in a stormy evening. Surely he lost conscious several times, and his comma was heavy, so they flooded him with water. They brought him early tonight, still there’s a long time before the dawn call-prayer. Unconscious he came tonight, it was useless for them to continue interrogating a dead body.

Death has the smell of burnt dust, has the taste of a throne stuck into your throat, you smell it before it comes, you feel it brooding heavily on your chest, around your neck, it suffocates you till you stop breathing, compresses more and more till you see the whole world but a hazy shadow fading slowly to pull you suddenly into bottomless well !!!

He started jerking in his faint body. I looked at him foolishly then tried to support his dangling head but he started foaming out of his suffocated throat and beating the bare floor with his hands while his legs shuddered stiffly. I tried to stop his hands but they were waving hellishly with a satanic power, cracking strongly against the floor and the wall sweeping everything before them like a crazy windmill. With open eyesockets, like a foolish dumb, I thought of him dying, tearing his soul apart with the flying foam out os his gashed mouth. I was horrored looking at him stupidly and found myself knocking the door madly crying:

-“He’s dying …bastards!!… What did you do to him!! He’s dying !!” and I don’t know if I heared a hoarse voice coming from the corridor: “Shut up you, dirty pig, or I will come and smash your head!!!”

I don’t know, I don’t know, even now I am not sure, but I was sure only of my own screams splitting out my throat. I heard nothing but my hysteric crying deafening my ears:

-“he’s dying…scoundrels,,, he’s dying!!” and scratching the massive door with my nails.

I felt the door collapse, the cell topple, the heavy stones falling, accumulating over my head, piled ponderously on my chest crushing my bones, dumbing my face…air…air… I needed nothing but fresh air to free my chest, a gap to break through, a hole to open out at… but suddenly, the narrow hole in the massive door opened to show a sullen face of a zionist jailor to spit in my face: “Shut up, son of the bitch !!” and shut it again.

I raised my hand to fumble the spit on my face, I felt frustrated, weakness and exhaustion crept into my knees up to my soul, I felt utter lost and helpless. A queer feeling swept me, to demolish the cell, to smash the whole jail with my bare hands, with my nails, but I started to cry again, a crying that is more like weeping than shouting: “he’s dying… don’t you see… he’s dying !!!”

And I looked back to Kifah, he get quiet now but still his legs were trembling feebly while his face crumbled as his eyes rolled slowly. He lifted his head heavily to look at me strangely with primitive horror, and raised his hand slowly extending it to me as if of a humble beggar asking for charity. His face contoured and his lips trembled as if he was trying to say something to me, a deep sense of horrifying query came out of his eyes that opened widely, the black shade of death covered his childish forehead , but finally, like a hissing of a snake, he mumbled a strange word. Was it the carnation of death or the terminal question of life?… I don’t know…. I don’t know, but he frowned swiftly and his hand fell down like a stone and his eyelids stuck to his sockets to loose all the meanings of life, then his head rolled over his chest like a butchered sheep. I stood looking at him foolishly horrified, not able to free my soul from his begging look until I heard Sheick Buddha murmuring while spreading his hands towards they sky: “ Oh, Almighty God!!, Destroy the zionists and all who support them !!!”

To be continued.

Sami, the Bedouin.

Death Penalty: A State of Assassins !!!

Countries/Regions

Arafat

assassination

assassins

excution

Livni

Palestine

Palestinian

peace

settlements

Shamir

Sharom

west bank

Zionist

zionizm
<guid

There are people and organizations who support capital punishment and even with increasing its rates and the legislation that widens its range alleging that it deters and reduce capital crimes within the society. However, others, people and organizations are against it and fighting and campaigning to stop it as an inhuman way of punishing individuals for committing crimes and offenses that the whole society is responsible for.

You cant justify killing for killing, nor eye-for-eye policy, otherwise you would have a whole dead or blind society.

The US is probably the largest killer in the world [37 death penalty was executed only in 2008] in which a whole society is standing up to kill an individual for committing a crime that he is partially responsible for, while actually the whole society is the murderer !!! No one is born criminal or killer, but the social conditions are the main factor of criminality, and the social conditions are provided and shaped by the society and government !!

Israel is out of this debate, simply because it is so “democratic” and never committed such a punishment but once in 1962 against Eichmann, the Nazi. The human blood and life for Israel is so precious, specially the jewish one as it never executed anyone from the “chosen people”, the beloved sons of God !!! Can you believe this? I don’t, simply because I have witnessed the mass-killing Israel executing the whole people of Palestine. Inside “israel” the conditions are perfect for the jew “citizen” but in the occupied West Bank, it is hell for the occupied natives !!!

The israili systematic assassination policy is very well known. Israel has been using Death Penalty even before it was established and once it was terrorist groups of Lehi, Irgun, and Etzel, even a long time before they (the zionist terrorists) assassinated the Swedish noble and diplomat Bernadette…. It’s a Zionist systematic policy that was established on the assassination mentality, and the assassins mostly become the top leaders of Israel like Shamir, Sharon, Barak, Livni the list is endless.
policies of state murder and mass terror. It substantiates the fact that the present recourse to political assassinations is part of a strategy to destroy the Palestinian national movement that has the support of the Labor Party leadership as well as Likhud.

A terrorist state (any terrorist state like israel) can allege that it doesn’t apply Death Penalty within its borders, and even that its “legal” system doesn’t have such a penalty, but on the ground they practice it openly and widely to annihilate the indigenous occupied people.

Since it was established, isreal has never committed Death penalty but once, however they (the Zionists) are applying a systematic and deliberate murder of a whole people. When its murderers reach to the top of the Government like Shamir and the current offense minister Barak (who slain three Palestinian leaders in Beirut with his bare hands), then the whole government is murderous!!

Hundreds of our leader, intellectuals, professors, students, prisoners, women, writers, thinkers, politicians, novelists, researchers, mayors, teachers, peace activists… have been deliberately assassinated by the terrorist state of israel. Over the past 100 years, the zionists have been targeting our elite to eliminate any possibility to have a healthy society and leadership, they are annihilating our people.

Hundreds of Palestinian prisoners were assassinated inside the prison after being caught and investigated like [Akkawi], others were released and shoot dead in the street a few days after being released. Hundreds of our leaders were assassinated in their offices, cars, homes or the street by the israeli assassination units that are ruling the Zionist state. Hundreds of writers, young peace activists, women were deliberately assassinated in their homes or in the street !!!

For the israeli terrorists, they are many different reasons to assassinate. Sometimes they murder a peace activist for his/her ability to convinces the Israelis and international peace activists to act, for his ability to cluster more peace activists [Abu-Rahmeh]. Sometimes when his impartial plan that is about to reach to a peaceful settlement [Bernadotte]. Sometimes students are killed because they are so popular in defending their cause specially those studying in the European Universities [al-Khederi]. Sometimes a leader is assassinated because he so influential in the International politics [Abu-Iyad]. Sometimes, a women is slain simply because her ability to organize and lead [Muna Dahi]. Sometimes a juvenile student is targeted for his a ability to move his fellow students to demonstrate [hundreds]. Sometimes a prisoner is assassinated for his ability to educated other prisoners [Ibrahim alraai]. Sometimes a writer is killed because he is internationally quoted for his authentic writings [Kanafani]. Sometimes a mayor is killed for being a leading national figure that unites Muslims and Christians together [Khalaf] the christian mayor of Ramalla. Sometime they assassinate Arab scientist for their abort their efforts [Almashad]. Sometimes they even slaughter European scientist who are about to reveal the zionist sabotage plots [Bonomo & Ferez]. Sometimes, simply because he doesn’t look good in the zionst eyes…. Shall we go on and name thousands of simple unknown martyrs who were targeted deliberately and shoot from “zero distance מדווח אפס”? if to use the zionist terminology after committing a successful assassination?

This policy has been followed all the time even by the zionist terrorists before establishing israel, and it was so clear when it was approved by the Knesset in 2000 during the second Intifada where hundreds were deliberately assassinated by the special israeli undercover units in a few months…. And still this systematic killing is going on !!!

So, israel never assassinated but Eichmann? I can believe this only if I am crazy or fool !!!

It is not necessary to have a “legal” system to legalize Death Penalty, but you can simply do it widely and systematically while alleging of being a so “Human” occupation and the “only democratic oasis” in the Middle East !!!

Sami, the bedouin

Al-Qaeda Infeltrating Into Gaza

Palestine

Politics

Terrorism
<guid

The Americans (politically speaking) are bombastically stupid at the time they think that they are smart enough to deceive the “seemingly stupid” others !!!

A striking example here is the CIA lie of the Iraqi “mass destruction” weapons which everybody knew that these “weapons” are not other than a sack of hay to experience their blind power on, and when you are blinded by power, you (always) act stupidly and don’t need to explain why you are crazy !!!

Mr. Saggan (who contacted me recklessly recently, to gather information) is fabricating a new “stupid” lie of AlQaeda in Gaza, however, this is not a new American lie nor started recently in their Donkihotic war against the invisible and exhausting “terrorism” while actually aiming at the Middle East resources. After accomplishing his lies in Iraq, the Gulf and Afghanistan, Mr. Saggan (the Zionist American delegated and probably funded by the Washington Institute) has come recently to dwell amongst his fellows in Jerusalem and started to weave the threads of the new trick. He’s expert in weaving “coherent” researches about “terrorism” as his rich history of “researches” is standing there for those who are still fooled or addict to be fooled.

Last year, a local officer boasted “stupidly” that he’s got a full “coherent” file of Alqaeda cells infiltrating into Gaza with the help of Hamas activist (with fabricated names and numbers, for sure) and he said that this report is going to shake the world. Probably he wanted to impress the Americans and the Zionists how loyal he was, or maybe he wanted to ensure having a super VIP card and started to collect “seemingly” informative file on which he exhausted himself for months to produce as much as he could an “authentic” lie.
I don’t know how long Mr. Saggan has been in Jerusalem, nor how much he’s cooperating with this (or alike) officer, but what I know is that he is weaving a plot to be ready when the time comes to re-invade the civilians of Gaza preparing for the Greater Israel !!!

I don’t believe that Hamas is cooperating with Alqaeda as they are both from very different schools and even competing in different camps as the last raid of Hamas against the Fundamentalists in Rafah showed how bloody this competition is.

However, it’s been years in which different parts are weaving “coherent” reports of AlQAIDA INFILTRATING INTO GAZA !!! Should we believe it? I personally cant buy more “smartly acted” stupid American lies !!!

Sami, the Bedouin.

Terrorism: A “Human Rights” Research

Palestine

Palestine/Israel

israel palestine NGO human rights Shabak intelligence arafat
<guid

The Israeli society then was in horror anticipating when and where the next operation is going to happen. I remember at that time, late in the evening, a jewish friend came paranoiac to my home in the West Bank. She got horridly into my house horrified and laid in my bed asking me to stay with me for a couple of days. Her face showed contours of horror as she spoke to me. I calmed her down and we sat to chat.

The Israeli intelligence (Shabak) stood helpless in horror not knowing what to do and how to stop that crazy wave of “terrorist” consecutive operations. They imposed closures, curfews, did arrests, assassinations but all was in vain in front of a whole people struggling for its freedom on its occupied homeland.

In early 1998, I was asked by a Palestinian “friend” if I can do an “academic” research for a Palestinian “Human Rights” organization. They were looking for an “academician” who can formulate a “coherent” study of the “suicide bombers”. My “friend” told me that the “offer” (as if talking of a business deal) is so generous and all the expenses are covered plus a huge amount of money… and all is “academic research”

Within this context, I was asked to do this research. The research was to be done on all the freedom-fighters who did suicide bombing operations; to meet their families, to gather and analyze statistics of them and their families, their social and geographical background, their habits, their ages, their degree of education …etc.

They, the Israeli intelligence (Shaback) was trying to preempt and anticipate the coming suicide bomber through studying the “typical suicide bomber”. They thought that through such a “coherent”, “academic” and thorough research they will be able to stop that attacks.

There is nothing better than using a “Human Rights” organization to do such a research pretending it to be a “purely” human rights “academic” research !! But I felt suspicious and refused to do that “academic” research !!! Do you see how some “academicians work under occupation?

For our luck, we Palestinians, have 52 “human rights” organizations in the West Bank only, and an endless number of other “academic” international organizations of NGOs. Every country, every intelligence agency has its own organization(s). I bet even the Somalis have their own NGO working in gathering information on our occupied Palestine and it’s all a “pure”, “academic” research for the help of the poor Palestinians.

Again, in early 2002, two years before Arafat was assassinated, and two years after the beginning of the second in tifada, after the Almighty Sharon decided that Arafat is “irrelevant” peace partner, I faced this trick of “academic” research again. My roommate got the chance (funny, it’s a chance to serve the international intelligence agencies) to do another “academic” research about Arafat
This research, also generous and fat, was done by an “academic” political studies center, directed by Palestinians of course, but moved by…by !! how could I know as a primitive Bedouin?

This research was done to assign “the potential successor of Arafat”, with questionnaires, statistics, interviews, analytical information of politics, economics …etc, compelled very well as if in an well “coherent”, “academic” research done by an “academician” of course !! The result was amazing and fantastic; the “irrelevant” Arafat was assassinated two years later !!!

See how the “benevolent” NGOs and “Human Rights” organizations work under occupation?

Sami, the Bedouin.

“Peace” or Occupation Plus Normalization

Arabs

Israel

Palestine

israel palestine settlement peace Mitchel Tonny West Bank PNA

israel zionism settlement netanyahu shalom palestine west bank peace love jews jew Mitchel
<guid

It is stupid to play the christ, (sometimes its a crime you commit against yourself when you help others) but the Bedouin did it for a long time before he felt it’s time to retire. Did Christ retire 2000 years ago? I don’t know but I cant follow the very steps of the Real Christ because I would die at the age of 30 and I don’t want that gloomy fate!!

Why the hell should I play the christ and spend my little money for that Lady that I never met? It is not only that Lady, but it is a style of repenting for the uncommitted guilts, and the sense of deep guilt was born with me to doom my life till I retired lately and gave my “soft heart” an endless vacation till I die, actually I am intending to fire him specially when I meet the mean people, not only the racist zionists but also my beloved people of the street!!!

The story started, as usual, ages ago, when I was still that little “christ” torturing his life for the sake of humanity!!!

Probably you don’t know that at every Palestinian city there is a big market for second-hand commodities, (שוק הבשבושים) in slang Hebrew, where everybody seeks his own unique interests. At that time I was looking for a new computer better than my old 486 one, specially after I got a valuable salary after working hard in construction for a whole month. That Saturday (should I call it black Saturday?), I went downtown looking meticulously for a new brand computer (the hell, nobody can find a new-brand computer in a second-hand market) and I found lots of rubbish stacked on the dusty pavements of the that jammed street.

I was surprised to see an “upper-class” Lady getting out of her Mercedes car to scavenge like me, I the poor boy of the street, but after that I discover that she is fascinated (actually crazy about) by the old ornaments and paintings of which you would find stacks in that dusty market.

Finally I saw a computer, not a brand new one like that in my mind, but a good one that would suffice, and for my good luck it was so cheep, less than half the price, and I got it and went home happily to discover that I had to play the role of the little ”christ” again!!!

I was astonished to open the computer and look into the folders and profiles stacked in there; reports, researches, arab names, jewish names, places, phone numbers, saved emails with names and addressed, unfinished researches, open letters…. And all what you can imagine to be found on a personal computer of a university professor!!! The hell, how come all that is still there. But I knew that half of the commodities in that damn dusty market are stolen, and this Pentium-1 computer was stolen!!

I read a lot of the emails and the research and it took me long hours to know, almost everything of that Lady; phone number, address, work phone numbers, friends… etc,… and I felt she was so poor to lose her personal computer, her whole life. Oh, sweet lady! I am so sorry that that happened to you, and the little “christ” in me was awaken!!

The next day, I phoned her trembling, not from my cell, but from a public phone:

christ: hello, can I talk to Geveret Elana? (just like in newspapers I will say, the name is preserved.)
Elana: speaking.
christ: probably you don’t know me (the hell, why “probably”, for sure she doesn’t know who the hell you are, little crazy Bedouin.)
Elana: Yes?
christ: I don’t know, but I found your computer! Probably stolen (the hell, “probably” again! For sure it was stolen!)
Elana: Oh, you do? Who are you? How much you want for the whole things you took (stole)?
christ: What? It is just a computer, Pentium-1. Sorry Lady, I am not a thief. I just wanted to help, and even I paid to buy it.
Elana: ………
christ: sorry Elana! Are you still there?
Elana: Yes, yes! We need all the things; the cameras, the two computers, the bag, all our papers are in the bag…. We will give you all what you ask for, just say how much!!
christ: Sorry Lady! I am not….. I want nothing…
Elana: Please!! I assure you we are not going to tell the police….

Oh sweet Lady! Why the hell should I play the little “christ” and sacrifice my money and soul for others! I am not a violent heartless thief Lady!! Please, you are killing me. I am just a little Bedouin who is trying to be normal…. I just felt so sorry for you loosing your files and emails… I know nothing of the other stolen things…

christ: Lady! I just want to give you your computer back, for nothing…

and I hanged up!!

For my luck, I was working close to her home at that time. I used to work in construction with a Palestinian of the inside arabs and we were like friends. I prepared everything that night intending to take the computer with me, but it was so difficult to pass the checkpoints without being checked (and this time they will definitely think I am the theif, and probably Elana would identify my voice as being “definitely” the same thief who called her and asked her for a HUGE amount of money)… the hell, why should I take the risk? but she is a poor woman, dirty bedouin, and that was clear from her tone over the phone!! Finally, I came up into a decision to unplug the “hard-disk”: because it is easy to hide and all what she wanted was stored there!!

The next day I went to work trembling, avoiding the look of every one I pass by as if I was the real “ugly violent” thief. I was paralyzed to death to pass the checkpoints hiding the (bomb of a) hard-disk in my jacket, and I took a deep breath to pass safely but still there was the potential, regular and sudden checking of (meshteret ha tnuaa) the traffic police or the ever moving sadistic (mishmar hagvoul) borders-police, are they police or street-gangs anyway!!

Finally I got to the workplace safely and waited for the arab “boss of” friend. I called her then, from my cellophane this time, and tried to explain everything to her. She understood, in a way, but still was suspicious and said: “Sami, I don’t want to be just a comparss in your movie!!”.

Dear Lady, I am not a movie director preparing a “terrorist” scenario nor nothing, I am not playing on you. I just wanted to help you for free… even the money I paid for your computer I don’t want them… I just want to get rid of the guilt I feel deep in my bones!!

She wasn’t sure of me, and she had the right not to…. but I was just a stupid… and I faked a new story for my “boss”!!

I told my arab co-worker that I want him to give this hard disk to the lady in his way home telling him that I translate some materials for her and this is the best way to pass them through a hard-disk… He didn’t believe my fake story at first, but as we called her she assured him that she wanted the hard-disk…

And he did it: he took the hard disk to that Lady (whom I never ever seen… and don’t want to, that I have killed the christ in me a long time ago…)

But still… a new killing look of my arab co-worker (of a friend) started to look at me…. he is still a friend (some long years after that story) but he still doesn’t believe the story, and deep in his heart thinks that I am a collaborator and that women was the liaison-officer to whom I pass “detailed” information stored in a hard-disk!!!

Crazy world, of crazy bedouins, of crazy arabs, of crazy zionists, of crazy homeland of Israel or Palestine, whatever!!!

The hell, why didn’t I take the money I paid at least!!!

Sami, the badone.

How to Recruit a Collaborator

Palestine/Israel

Politics

bizarre and queer stories under occupation… the story of almost every Palestinian !!!

My friend (like me) is a skilled worker, and his precious hands are very wanted in a healthy society but not in a crippled economics under occupation like ours. And as a part of a well woven plan, he’s been chased by a Palestinian businessman in the Palestinian city of Haifa. This businessman kept annoying him with phone calls and generous offers of salary for three months, but my friend kept saying that he wont take the risk and sneak inside (or outside anyway) without a “legal” permission (as if there is a one single “legal” thing in this “zionist” land), there are “legal settlements” anyway.

Finally the businessman told my friend that he’s got him a permission but he has to come first “illegally” to Haifa. He gathered himself (like me this summer, some of you know that I sneak to work in construction, but not for the Zionists in no way) and went in a tiring and risky journey that last 15 hours to cross some 50km to HIS original hometown Hifa (from which the zionists kicked his father out in 1948). He was given a humble dwelling place to manage and they used his hands for a low salary compared to his Israeli peers, but this wasn’t part of the whole trick !!!

My friend, who was still dwelling there “illegally” and permission-lessly. Kept asking his Palestinian recruiter of the promised-permission in the “promised land”. The recruiter kept lying and lying till after two weeks he said, Yes ! the permission is ready BUT !!! My friend was rejoiced to be able (still waiting) to move freely and work in his hometown, but this BUT killed him.

This BUT conditioned that the permission is still with the person who provide it named (Abu-Jamal), and that my friend was conditioned to meet Mr. Abu-Jamal to thank him for his endless endeavor to attain the permission. “OK, why not to meet him” said my friend anticipating to have the permission!!

The next day, Mr. Abu-Jamal “honored” my friend with a visit in his humble dwelling, with the presence of the Palestinian recruiter, of course. The surprise was that Abu-Jamal was a Zionist jew, as they, the Zionists fake Arab names to fake a faked friendship, or to hide their real identity!! The Zionist Abu-Jamal told my friend that he toiled (faking that he is not a Shabak officer) to get him the permission for free, and that he wanted a “small” service from him. “What is it?” my friend asked bewildered. Abu-Jamal told him that he will know later on and showed him the permission, (an excellent one with 24/7 full free movement, as if it is “illegal” for him to move in his original hometown of Haifa) but also he is not allowed to take permission BUT later on “after they have bread and salt together and become friends” as Mr. Abu-Jamal added cunningly.

The next day, the recruiter told him that he has a paid-day off. “but I came here to work!!” said my friend. “Today is your lucky day, Abu-Jamal is going to take you for a free trip, on the house” said the recruiter (shall we say cunningly), anyway.

The “benevolent” Abu-Jamal took my friend to the shore, they swam and chatted (Abu-Jamal showed my friend that he knows everything, every single thing about his personal life to threaten him, but my friend thought “So what!!”), then took him to a luxurious restaurant. They had a fat dinner (just to have bread and salt together “as the Egyptian saying” and be friends), and after the dinner Mr. Abu-Jamal pointed to the luxurious bar and said: “You see all those drinks? Just pick anyone and all on the house”. (Wooow, if it was me, I would drink the whole bar.. lol) BUT my friend is not that type in no way, he can never drink alcohol and refused to order but soft drink, and here “after they became friends” the serious discussion started.

Abu-Jamal: Look !! Now we are already friends, take this mobile number, its mine. Whatever happened to you, wherever you were and face troubles, just call me, my men will come to help you.
Friend: OK, but what about the permission?
A-J: You will take it late, but don’t worry, even without a permission you wont face troubles.
Friend: OK, but what you want from me (pretending to be gullible)
A-J: Nothing, just a small service!! We know everything about you, your village, you family and can get you anytime!!
F: So, what is that service?
A-J: Simple, to follow 4 persons from your village and tell us everything about them !! (is Sami, the Bedouin. included?)
F: Who are they?
A-J: Not yet, you are not trusted yet.
F: OK! Just a small question (knowing that he would never get out of the Zionist dirty circle if agreed). Can I resign and say bye whenever I want?
A-J: Sure, it’s your choice finally !!!
F: (waiting for the chance to run away) OK ! Agreed.
A-J: Great, lets celebrate now.

Yes, it’s my friend’s choice finally to live the hell under occupation, to be humiliated and to be forced finally to serve the oppressing Zionists “willingly”. !!

My friends’ choice was NO, never !!! and he waited to gather his things and salary to leave at the first chance !!!

At the crossing (Apartheid Wall) point, the sweet girl officer who checked my friend leaving out smiled at his face after scrutinizing her computer screen saying: “Nedal, you are great, you are recommended here!!” and he left home frustrated and disgusted of the whole computerized connected system of the racist Israel !!!

After crossing the borders, my friend called Abu-Jamal and told him: “Abu-Jamal, F-U-K YOU !!! You cant eat the flesh of every Palestinian” and broke the mobile!!!

Nobody in the whole world can force you to collaborate with the Zionist oppressor if your heart said no !!! They can kill you, torture you, lynch you or imprison you for years, but even God cant force you if your heart Simply said: NO! and F—K YOU ! Mr. Abu-Jamal !!

Sami, the Bedouin.<br

Hundreds of bodies were transferred to the families days, months or even years after the fact, and when the bodies were sent back, they were missing vital internal organs.

Farwana added that the Swedish report, written by Donald Boström and published by Aftonbladet Swedish paper, regarding illegal trafficking of body parts of Palestinians is directly connected to the execution of Palestinians after they surrendered to the army, and is connected with the arrest of 40 well-known figures, including Rabbis in New Jersey for money laundering and corruption, in a scheme that involved sales of Israeli kidneys in the US and other corruption rackets.

Farwana added that one of the illegal acts carried out by Israel is having secret detention facilities in which dozens of detainees were imprisoned and never heard of anymore. This is in addition to the “Numbers Graveyard” in which “unknown” Palestinian and Arab fighters are buried.

He said that Israel still denies it is holding hundreds of Palestinian and Arab fighter, and refuses to cooperate with the Red Cross on the issue.

The researcher added that Israel is the only state that had a policy of detaining the bodies of slain Arab and Palestinian fighters, and that some 300 fighters are buried in the numbers graveyard.

Hundreds of bodies were returned during prisoner-swap deals, including the latest swap-deal between Hezbollah and Israel in which some 200 bodies were moved to Lebanon.

Farwana further said that dozens of detainees died in Israeli prisons, some due to torture, and their bodies were not immediately sent to their families, but instead were moved to forensic center, and some of their body parts were removed before bodies were sent back to the Palestinians.

He said the Swedish paper said in its report that Palestinians youth were abducted by the Israeli army from their homes, were killed later on, and when their bodies were return, they were cut open and vital organs were missing.
Rabbi Levi Yitzhak Rosenberg, who was recently arrested in New York, is believed to be involved in illegal trade of organs, and that he sold Kidney to patients in the United States for 160.000 USD.

The Aftonbladet report placed the Israeli-Swedish relations at odds, and some Israel officials demanded Sweden to officially apologize, while other officials said that this report in part of the efforts to demonize Israel and the Jews.

This is the link for the full Aftonbladet report, in English, with pictures attached <a

Half a million pamphlets were spread in local newspapers. Ehud Olmert himself was the first person to sign up. A couple of weeks later the Jerusalem Post reported that the campaign was a success. No fewer than 35,000 people had signed up. Prior to the campaign it would have been 500 in a normal month. In the same article, however, Judy Siegel, the reporter, wrote that the gap between supply and demand was still large. 500 people were in line for a kidney transplant, but only 124 transplants could be performed. Of 45 people in need of a new liver, only three could be operated on in Israel.

While the campaign was running, young Palestinian men started to disappear from villages in the West Bank and Gaza. After five days Israeli soldiers would bring them back dead, with their bodies ripped open.

Talk of the bodies terrified the population of the occupied territories. There were rumors of a dramatic increase of young men disappearing, with ensuing nightly funerals of autopsied bodies.

I was in the area at the time, working on a book. On several occasions I was approached by UN staff concerned about the developments. The persons contacting me said that organ theft definitely occurred but that they were prevented from doing anything about it. On an assignment from a broadcasting network I then travelled around interviewing a great number of Palestinian families in the West Bank and Gaza – meeting parents who told of how their sons had been deprived of organs before being killed. One example that I encountered on this eerie trip was the young stone-thrower Bilal Achmed Ghanan.

It was close to midnight when the motor roar from an Israeli military column sounded from the outskirts of Imatin, a small village in the northern parts of the West Bank. The two thousand inhabitants were awake. They were still, waiting, like silent shadows in the dark, some lying upon roofs, others hiding behind curtains, walls, or trees that provided protection during the curfew but still offered a full view toward what would become the grave for the first martyr of the village. The military had interrupted the electricity and the area was now a closed-off military zone – not even a cat could move outdoors without risking its life. The overpowering silence of the dark night was only interrupted by quiet sobbing. I don’t remember if our shivering was due to the cold or to the tension. Five days earlier, on May 13, 1992, an Israeli special force had used the village’s carpentry workshop for an ambush. The person they were assigned to put out of action was Bilal Achmed Ghanan, one of the stone-throwing Palestinian youngsters who made life difficult for the Israeli soldiers.

As one of the leading stone-throwers Bilal Ghanan had been wanted by the military for a couple of years. Together with other stone-throwing boys he hid in the Nablus mountains, with no roof over his head. Getting caught meant torture and death for these boys – they had to stay in the mountains at all costs.

On May 13 Bilal made an exception, when for some reason, he walked unprotected past the carpentry workshop. Not even Talal, his older brother, knows why he took this risk. Maybe the boys were out of food and needed to restock.

Everything went according to plan for the Israeli special force. The soldiers stubbed their cigarettes, put away their cans of Coca-Cola, and calmly aimed through the broken window. When Bilal was close enough they needed only to pull the triggers. The first shot hit him in the chest. According to villagers who witnessed the incident he was subsequently shot with one bullet in each leg. Two soldiers then ran down from the carpentry workshop and shot Bilal once in the stomach. Finally, they grabbed him by his feet and dragged him up the twenty stone steps of the workshop stair. Villagers say that people from both the UN and the Red Crescent were close by, heard the discharge and came to look for wounded people in need of care. Some arguing took place as to who should take care of the victim. Discussions ended with Israeli soldiers loading the badly wounded Bilal in a jeep and driving him to the outskirts of the village, where a military helicopter waited. The boy was flown to a destination unknown to his family. Five days later he came back, dead and wrapped in green hospital fabric.

A villager recognized Captain Yahya, the leader of the military column who had transported Bilal from the postmortem center Abu Kabir, outside of Tel Aviv, to the place for his final rest. “Captain Yahya is the worst of them all,” the villager whispered in my ear. After Yahya had unloaded the body and changed the green fabric for a light cotton one, some male relatives of the victim were chosen by the soldiers to do the job of digging and mixing cement.

Together with the sharp noises from the shovels we could hear laughter from the soldiers who, as they waited to go home, exchanged some jokes. As Bilal was put in the grave his chest was uncovered. Suddenly it became clear to the few people present just what kind of abuse the boy had been exposed to. Bilal was not by far the first young Palestinian to be buried with a slit from his abdomen up to his chin.

The families in the West Bank and in Gaza felt that they knew exactly what had happened: “Our sons are used as involuntary organ donors,” relatives of Khaled from Nablus told me, as did the mother of Raed from Jenin and the uncles of Machmod and Nafes from Gaza, who had all disappeared for a number of days only to return at night, dead and autopsied.

“Why are they keeping the bodies for up to five days before they let us bury them? What happened to the bodies during that time? Why are they performing autopsy, against our will, when the cause of death is obvious? Why are the bodies returned at night? Why is it done with a military escort? Why is the area closed off during the funeral? Why is the electricity interrupted?” Nafe’s uncle was upset and he had a lot of questions.

Kibutz Keneret

We chatted to that old man of 80+ but he was still active in the Kibutz working daily as if in his 40s. In the evening we sat and he started to tell us (and he didn’t know I am an Arab) enthusiastically but bitterly about his long life in the Kibutz, in achieving the Zionist dream.

He came in the early 1930s, as the dream was still fresh and flourishing, from Poland with his parents and directly joined the Argon (the underground Zionist gangs at that time). He told us how they were driven enthusiastically hectic to build the army, how they were working endlessly in the land during the day and in the secret units in the night. How they were ploughing the land, fighting the arabs, guarding the jewish yeshuvim in the night and taking military training: “there was no time for the trifles of nowadays and we had to dig with our teeth to get our bread and protect ourselves” !!! And how finally they kicked the arabs from their villages one by one (fighting for their existence) until they established the “medinah” state of Israel !!! And even after that how a new stage of building the nation and protecting it started within and with the help of the Kibutz, as it (the Kibutz) was the cornerstone in building the “nation” !!!

This man, came immigrant from Poland, he got a new name ( a jewish one, as part of the Zionist project to unplug the old identity of the immigrants to plant a new brand “Zionist” one). His name (which I cant disclose here, but ready if irritated) was taken from the very occupied stolen land and took its history, its color, its stolen identity. It’s a zionist psychological technique to take from the jewish immigrants everything relate them to their homeland (in Europe or whatever) and plant new elements; their names, their language, their friend, their job, neighborhood,.. and pass them through a long and tiring program of (Olpan) sessions, seminars and religious brainwashing (if they are not already brainwashed) to drive them into “pure” Zionists rampaging the land fighting for their very “existence” !!!

And the story of this man drove me (lately) to think of the jewish American writer John Steinbeck who wrote of: the end of the American dream

This old man, as we visited him, was at his late age and the last string of his hope in “the new generation” (as he called them) who have no ties to the “promised land” and most of them are converted jews.

When started talking of the present time his tone changed into bitter and sad… there is nothing left to be done, nothing left to dream of…. And the most killing (for him) is the “new generation” who isn’t good for anything and are not trusted to achieve and continue the dream !!!

However, from a historic viewpoint the Zionist dream is over for different reasons:

The festive atmosphere at the 15th World Congress on Jewish Studies held last week [held early this month] at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem was accompanied by an air of sadness. This was due to the sense that Israel perhaps is not the focal point of Diaspora Jewry, despite being home to the largest database in the world on Judaism and Jews.

There are no more jews to be convinced to be brought to the “promised land” (though now the zionists are talking of a new giant wave from India “jews”, if there are Indian jews anyway) in addition the number of the international Jewry is getting less and less while the Palestinians have a relentless generative people in the heart of Israel itself, a fighting demographic reality!!!

More and more jews are heading West leaving the colonized land for the natives specially after the suicidal uprising of the second Intifada, and this was referred to repeatedly by the Israeli politicians starting from the leftist Yael Dayyan years ago to the rightist Levni this week. Moreover, even the existing jews are working to have European passports (usually from where they come from originally) anticipating the unknown !!!

In addition, throughout the world, universities are losing their status as knowledge and information providers as the Internet becomes an increasingly dominant player, even in researching the past.

This means that the open sphere of the internet is threatening for the conspirator zionism and it left no room (or in its way to leave no room) for the Zionist propaganda, like an article appeared last month saying that the AIPAC is lurching dead in front of the new informative technologies.

Alan Blum, a Jewish American philosopher, claimed in his book The Closing of the American Mind that truth was replaced on campuses by political correctness, whose tyranny threatens democratic society.

More and more intellectual jews (of philosophers, historians, archaeologists university professors and the rest of the chain, shall we name tens?) cant buy anymore the Zionist lying of propaganda and choose to take the side of real truth of what is really going on on the ground. They are not only raising their voices, but also no longer fear being stigmatized (as it is a ready Zionist weapon to use) of being anti-Semitic or self-hating jews !!!!

The Zionist dream is in its final stage ready to be taken to the hospital if not the morgue and the first reason is the fighting reality of the Palestinian people on their homeland for almost a hundred year now !!!

I have a dream today… of getting free soon to see Palestine enfolding all religions and races in one democratic secular state but not In failure of our value system, self-destructive dance plaguing group of educated, self-hating academics who threw away truth-seeking in favor of political correctness in universities compromises Jewish studies, keeps students away, says Mor Altshuler

The festive atmosphere at the 15th World Congress on Jewish Studies held last week at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem was accompanied by an air of sadness. This was due to the sense that Israel perhaps is not the focal point of Diaspora Jewry, despite being home to the largest database in the world on Judaism and Jews.

Discussions were dedicated to the crisis plaguing Jewish studies departments – namely, that every year the number of students choosing to study Bible, Jewish history, or Hebrew language gets smaller and smaller. It is possible that this phenomenon is linked to the shrinking endowments of humanities departments in general, to the materialism of the younger generation that prefers to study fields that will bear speedy economic returns on investment.

In addition, throughout the world, universities are losing their status as knowledge and information providers as the Internet becomes an increasingly dominant player, even in researching the past.

Take, for instance, the thousands of rare and first editions of books that have been scanned and made available on the Internet. In years to come, the Internet will also contain scanned versions of periodicals. The virtual library will beat out the bricks-and-mortar library, the very symbol of the old university. In a similar manner, the importance of group learning, in classrooms, in front of flesh-and-blood lecturers is decreasing.

Yet, these are only external changes and provide only a partial explanation on the brain drain from theoretical learning. The devaluation of humanities in the West stems from a failure of our value system, which has its source in the thinning of content and turning our backs on the search for truth that was once at the very aim of learning to begin with.

Alan Blum, a Jewish American philosopher, claimed in his book The Closing of the American Mind that truth was replaced on campuses by political correctness, whose tyranny threatens democratic society.

Spirit of Zionism
In Israel, a nationalist element is added to the failure of the value system, seeing as the first universities were established in the spirit of Zionism. Already in the first Zionist congresses, the Hebrew University and the Technion were planned and slated to be built with the help of Zionist benefactors. These institutions were expected to build an educated and enlightened society and to create a cultural renaissance, including a renewal of the Hebrew language and a shaking off of religious oppressiveness characteristic of traditional learning in the yeshivot and houses of study of Europe.

The Israeli university reflected Zionist ideals. It maintained the continuity between the traditions of the past and the country taking form in the present without foregoing the secular-pioneer mission of building a sovereign independent state without waiting for divine intervention.

Plagued by self-hatred
However, as enlightened freedom of thought is replaced by a politically correct agenda, over-emphasis of secular anti-religion remains and paves the way for self-hating revisionism.

For instance, one of the “new historians” “proved’ that Jewish self-awareness as a nation and their continued connection to the Land of Israel are inventions meant to justify Zionist ideology retroactively. A well-known archeologist, who was awarded a prestigious award, regurgitated this claim and applied it to biblical times. According to him, the kingdom of David and Solomon never existed and was only invented to justify control of the Palestinian territories with a claim of historic right. A third “new historian” went far enough to say that the Jewish people are an invention, saying that Jews are all converts from other nations.

With this kind of curriculum to rely on, it is no wonder that students are staying away from Jewish university studies.

Dr. Mor Altshuler is a researcher of Jewish Thought

The Human Morals -vs- the zionist “morals”

General

Human Rights

Palestine/Israel

Racism
<guid

Today my wife went to visit her brother in the “israeli” jail, and of course she got to take our baby Adam with her.

Adam, our baby, is less than two months, he’s exactly 54 days old today as he went to visit his detained uncle for the first time.

The “israeli” jail is some 40km away from our home, and the journey to it takes some 30-40 minutes in a normal country. In a normal country everything is normal but in a racist regime like in “israel”, everything is hell for the “less human” native Palestinians. In a normal country the trip takes 30-40 minutes, but in a racist regime it takes more than 12 hours.

Today, my wife got up in down and prepared herself to go and meet her dad and sister in Jenin city before they go to the busses of the International Red-Cross to take them to the “israeli” jail. She went and took our baby and they all got in the busses and seemingly everything was OK.

The busses drove 20 minutes to reach the Israeli Apartheid Segregation Wall to get into the Palestinian territories occupied in 1948, ie inside the racist “israeli” regime.

When they got there, the busses were stopped and the “israeli” soldiers, or intelligence agents got into the busses scrutinizing every human and every aspect inside there, they intend to turn the visitor’s journey into hell and they always succeed.

The soldier, interrogator, security agent or who the hell he was kept searching until her reached my wife. He looked at her angrily asking of our baby: “Who’s this?”
-“It’s my baby.” Replied my wife.
-“And what is he doing here?”
-“He’s my baby.” Replied my wife amazed at his question.
-“You are violating the rules, he is not allowed to go in.” said the soldier decisively.
-“What? He’s just a baby.” Shouted my wife unbelieving what is going on.
-“He’s not allowed and you are violating the law. Next time you got to be punished.”
-“What?” still unbelieving what is going on.
-“He is not a first degree relative, and not allowed to visit accordingly.” Replied the soldier angrily.

And for those who don’t know the “israeli” “law”, their racist law anyway, only the first degree relatives are allowed to visit the prisoner, ie his mom, dad, sisters and brothers…. And Adam, our 54 days old baby is not allowed simply because he’s just a nephew and not first degree relative…. The hell with the racist “israeli” regime’s “law”!!!

For my wife’s luck, who didn’t see her brother in jail for seven months, she had her old father with her, some 70+ years old man. Her father suggested a solution that he would return and take the baby back to his grandma until she comes back from the visit, that finally it’s been a long time she didn’t see her brother in the jail.
Yes, it was like this today, a crazy racist country called “israel” prevented our 54 days old baby from visiting his uncle, that their “law” decided it is forbidden for a nephew to see his uncle even if he was less than two months old. But my little Adam was happy to spend a joyful day with his grandma until his mom came late in the evening frustrated and exhausted of a journey that lasted more than 12 hours!!

This is the racist “Israel” that Adam must know and fight against. I will teach him to fight for his freedom, for a dignified life!!! The hell with the “israeli” law, the hell with all the racist regimes.

Sami, the Bedouin.<br

As the whole world was talking of “peace” the Zionists were faking a peace process of Oslo while hectically busy in doubling the number of settlers in only 7 years to be 250, 000 settlers in 1999 as Sharon stated it very clear :“Everybody has to move, run and grab as many hilltops as they can to enlarge the settlements because everything we take now will stay ours… Everything we don’t grab will go to them.” Ariel Sharon, Israeli Foreign Minister, addressing a meeting of militants from the extreme right-wing Tsomet Party, Agence France Presse, November 15, 1998. Now, in 2009, the number is doubled again to more than 500,000 settlers in over 300 settlements systematically built and connected with Hiways system to prevent any possibility of establishing any kind of a Palestinian state but segregated pantostons. “Another settler, another donum, another sheep” this is how the Zionist project works to take the whole cake of Palestine at the time they are (managing the ongoing crisis) faking a kind of “peace process” to deceive the gullibles!!

12 years ago, in 1997, I told Mocia, my Iraqi jewish friend, that I don’t believe that the Oslo Accord would lead to anything (of peace), and I explained to her by drawing that, at that time, the West Bank was divided into 5 parts (at least): Hebron area, then comes Gush Itzion settlements block that cuts Hebron off from Bethlehem as a separate pantoston, then the great Jerusalem that cuts the whole West Bank from the middle, then comes the Pantoston of Ramallah segregated by tens of surrounding settlements, then to the north there is Gush Ariel settlements block which also cuts off the West bank again into two parts starting from Qalqilia west up to Jericho.

The Northern part of the West bank is the biggest, which is composed of Nablus city (the biggest in the West Bank), Tulkarm city, and Jenin City. This area is also cut off with scattered small settlements but not that effective to prevent uniting these three cities, however, the three cities of the north are completely cut off each others by a “coherent” set of tens of permanent checkpoints and a number of overlooking strategic settlements.

That was in 1997 were the number of the settlers was less than 200,000… but now (as there are more than 500,000 settlers, and a system of over 300 settlements that controls the West Bank totally and coherently) the situation is so complicated that I cant see any hope for any kind of (”Palestinian State”) but tens of concentration camps!!

However,

Jenin-stan (the capital of “terrorism”) is being modernized and this is not a success for one person of Dayton nor the United States Security Coordinators Team USSC which includes the Britishs, the Canadians and the Turks . It’s been three years being prepared to in coordination with the Israelis (who were suspicious at first), the Jordanians, the PNA… and of course all (except the Israelis) are lead by Mr. Dayton.

Jenin is the only area, along with parts of Nablus and Tulkarm, that might witness a kind of a Palestinian autonomy, that now it is cut off the world by the segregation wall from north and west, the Jordan Valley from the East and the fixed Israeli checkpoints from the south. In this area, there are a few settlements like Maboa-Dothan, Rehan and other tiny ones and all are at the peripheries of the Jenin district…

The businessmen have their connection to the authorities (and they have their sixth sense following profit) and in a way, they know that the future Palestinian “State” (pantoston, autonomy, or whatever) will be in Jenin area… Is Mr. Dayton preparing that? As I know, “Historic Israel” which is Samaria and Judea starting from Nablus Area (Yetzhar settlemet) up to Araad in the south, is already taken by the settlers and it would be next to impossible to establish but Palestinian pantostons there!!

It’s been almost a year now and the business is heading to Jenin… all kind of investment is being prepared to (actually done) there… businessmen from Hebron, Ramallah, Nablus, Jericho are roaming the area for buying real-estate, land-properties and other infrastructure for their business…. and even there are businessmen who buy only real-estate en masse or land-properties in all the area of Jenin!!

Other significant event is: consecutive and condensed visits done by the Jordanian intelligence agents (in coordination with the Israelis of course) and meeting the prominent “families” in home visits (to revive the “the Jordanian option”? or to revive the feudal division of families? ) I dont know… but there are lots of things being done in Jenin area for something in “their minds” (لغاية في نفس يعقوب) and we are preparing to have our Democratic Republic State of Jenin…. and for sure, the businessmen (including the corrupted PA “ministers”) are the first to know and to take “part of, if not all” the cake along with their Israeli peers!!

And still talking of the “two states” solution, and freezing the settlements? The settlers are already taking all of the West Bank, except our “Great” JeninStan!!!

For me, the “one-state” solution is the only possible and human solution as we are already ten years beyond that two-state solution, otherwise, we are heading blindly and rapidly toward the next Bosnia in the West Bank !!!

Sami, the Bedouin.

Existentialist In The Israeli Jail !!!

Israel
<guid

I was looking out blankly and she was, probably, looking at my look, or the way I looked. Then out of sudden she asked me in a decisive and assuring tone: “Are you existentialist Sami?” I was shocked and startled for that direct unexpected questions and remembered the “parties” of interrogation they held on me in jail.

What? Existentialist? What’s that? And I was really astonished not only from the question but from the questioning person whom I never thought she knows (and I was right) anything of Sartre or Fanon.

What? Existentialist? Why the hell I am always taken to be –ist?

“You are communist, and we know that” roared the interrogator suddenly (actually not one but three interrogators to complete the “party”) which is part of their job to surprise you with new dimentions that you have never heard of!!!

“What? Existentialist?” and I, realizing that she is not an interrogator, burst in a sudden hysteric laugh. “why do you think I am ‘existentialis’” I got the courrage to ask in a defensive way as if facing a mean interrogator in a decisive time of a “session”. “No, but really just asking. I mean the way you think, the way you talk, they way you contemplate dreamingly.” She explained apologetically “Is all that (existentialism) in me?” I asked in a sarcastic but polite way. “I don’t know but just asking!!”

‘why the hell you ask’ I thought feeling the blood dripping on my side cheek. “I am the one to ask here, son of a bitch!” shouted the interrogator while his two mates were watching angrily as if echoing his tone. One of them seemed to be taking initial training on me, such a little “academician” probably studying my case of a “strong headed” person, or probably having a seminar of “crises management”!!!!…. I looked at him, at them actually, and took my final decision (I am not going to talk, even after death)

Existentialist!!! Communist!!! Atheist!!! Tribalist!! Why the hell you ask, you little ignorant lady. Does it matter for you if I am existentialist or f-k-ist?

So, I am existential-IST, sweet lady!!!!

“What does it mean to be existentialist dear?” I asked her in a defensive retaliation for her unexpected, perplexing and torturing question.

“I don’t know exactly, but it means to believe that you exist.”

‘The hell, I do exist. I am still not driven crazy.” I thought to myself. ‘I do feel the blood bruising over my side face.’ Silence! Silence… silence is my only weapon in this battle. Patience!! Who in Satan sake can be patient wile a very “academician” is holding his experiment on him, on his very body, very mind, on his ability to hold a “sustainable” coordination between his mind and body!!! Can an existentialist do?

“Get up, you dirty athe-IST” and he was looking at me in a clear irritation. ‘you mustn’t be irritated, dear interrogator. Irritation is the first step for falling’ I thought to myself and kept motionless and silent, and didn’t get up. He got up swiftly looking at his mates urging them to help him and they all jumped standing. ‘Is it time for a new “party”’ I thought to myself, still trying to hold silent and “coherent”, I loath this word “coherent”.

“I don’t know, but I am sure you can give me a full and “coherent” explanation.” Said the lady cunningly smiling while still looking that perplexing look of… of… don’t know but so sweet and submissive.
Oh sweet lady!! Why in heaven you come to “irritate” me? Why should I give a “coherent” explanation to everybody, including the Israeli interrogators?!!!

“take his clothes off!” the chief interrogator ordered his mates. They jumped on me but I kept completely silent, motionless. The very “academician” bunched my head angrily then retreated as if stung by a snake: “Oh, shit!! His dirty blood, this asshole!!” and he was “smeared” by my dripping blood on my side face.

Oh!! So clean and soft “academician”!! It’s awful to have a “blood-smeared hands”!!! But it’s my dear blood!!!

The hell, I have to stop writing!!!

And still the crazy question is angwishly waiting for a quenching answer…. Why the hell I am taken to be –ist all the time…. Why I cant be just a simple Bedouin who is dreaming to live a normal life in this very “holy, or promised” land of the “chosen people”???

Sami, the bedouin.

Bedouinism And The “Peace” Process

General

Palestine

Palestine/Israel

Politics

Regional Issues

War
<guid

Just to give you example of our very tribe (regardless of the number that we usually exaggerate “100,000″ men, that women and children are not counted in our culture) are spread on three countries, Palestine, Egypt and Jordan. We used to have a yearly travel extending for Sinai up to “beyond Haifa” north and sometimes “beyond, beyond Haifa”, and that was before the Zionists invaded Palestine and made their own borders and segregation walls to revive their ghetto again.

We, bedouins, have very weak psychological ties to land and we consider (just like the zionists) wherever our camels (tanks, in the zionist case) can reach is our land, and accordingly the spacious world is our home (probably like the gypsies in the European culture). However, we are the remnants of the Islamic worrier society and have a high sense of dignity and self-esteem (though, I personally dont).

The Jordanian kingdom is based on the “Hashemite” bedouin family (and I dont wants to say dynasty) that is originally from Iraq and took the rule of Jordan just recently. The Jordanian population structure is very complicated as jordan is formed of approximately 65% of Palestinian refugees and less than 20% of bedouins (specially in the south) who are ruling the country and the “regime” depends heavily on the bedouin tribes to suppress the peasants and the Palestinian refugees.

The Jordanian ruling “dynasty” is a peaceful one that depends, in its financial, military and political support, on the annual US aids and they dont really care much about the Palestinians or anybody else as their national slogan says “Jordan First” and final, of course. But, the Jordanian ruling family in real horror now fearing (a potential) and expected new wave of Palestinian refugees, which would change the demographic structure dramatically there, and therefore they (truly) work on finding (a kind of peaceful) settlement for the on going struggle, to avoid its catastrophic effects not on the Palestinians but on Jordan itself.

Can Jordan be an “impartial” mediator? They tried and trying but the problem is a zionist one not Jordanian, that the Zionist project is targeting the whole of historic Palestine and I really dont think that the Israelis, regardless of the (uncountable) mediators including the Americans (if they are mediators, anyway), the Europeans, the Russians, the moderate “moderate” or the surrendering arabs… etc, who have been working on finding a peaceful settlement, really want peace as they (the zionists) want the whole cake without giving nothing!!! Do we need another mediator? I dont believe that would help but all what we need is a true will for peace which the zionist entity (as a colonial regime) dosnt really have!!

Sami, the bedouin.

A Sunny Day at the Beach !!!

General

israel palestine racism beach story bedouin zionist zionism
<guid

Should I blame myself for not being one of the “chosen people” to enjoy the bright and joyful side of life? But I am a damn hellish Palestinian!!

I can’t believe why I feel so sad when I remember the beach. Why should the beach be part of my gloomy history? A childish Bedouin boy trying to be normal in this damn “holy” land!

That was a long time ago, not really a child at this time but a kind of a working teenager (later on, I had to translate a draft law and found out that – the hell!! – I shouldn’t have been working like a bull at such an early age.) But who would have cared? And what law we are bound to? I never was really a child. I was born a man to endure all that hell of life!

A beach!! What a lovely childish word that is so gloomy and sadistic for me…

I was a working-child of 15, a child that was smiling at the occupiers face and worked heartedly like a bull. Ages ago, when we were still sleeping before any intifada or uprising would wake us from our dream. “Shalom Boss!!” the child used to say to his recruiter, such a human hard-worker Jew, crushed too by this tough life. He was a great man, he treated me as a child, never yelled, and I was a smart child-worker.

Shimon!! Do you still remember me? I am that little “helper” from ages ago. Dear Shimon, I still remember your deep-hearted smile, just like me, a little childish smile! Shimon, I am not mad at you at all, we worked together like you were my elder brother. I remember all this so fresh and clear, we toiled like horses both crushed to death to serve our bosses!!

One morning as I arrived (on time, as usual, although I had to walk a long winding road in the bushes to reach work), I saw that Shimon was there waiting. He looked sad and a bit angry. As I approached I heard him mumble: “Son of a b*tch, he didn’t bring the materials.” That meant we had no work that day. “So what, Shimon! The hell with him, that son of a b*tch! If there are no materials what can we do?” – He walked around thinking, mumbling again something I didn’t hear, he looked sad, probably he had nothing at home and felt bad. Then he turned and said: “I don’t know Sami but there is no work today.” ‘So what!’ I thought, it will be great to have a day off!! … (The f*ck!! A child should have all his days off!!) And he left walking home silently.

Oh, great!! The beach!! I could go to the beach and have a lovely day there!!!

I walked joyfully along the street heading to the beach! A day off! What a lovely day!! I went down the cliffs to step onto the lovely glistening yellowish sand, just like that of the desert, fresh and clean, and was happily smiling for the lovely scene of the long beach. I came closer to the lingering waves. I touched the fresh water and the heavy smell of the sea filled my nose deep to wash my soul. A great sunny day for swimming!!

“Hey! What are you doing here?” a hoarse voice of a man in his 40s shouted at me. “Come over here!” he ordered, and I had nothing to do but to walk frightened towards him. “What the hell are you doing here?” he asked. I explained to him that I worked nearby and had a day off and that I was just coming to swim, but he dragged me violently to the small caravan of the swimming rescue team. He pulled me inside and called his mate to come down from the rescue tower. I was frightened to death. He pulled a whip that was hidden inside there, probably for that purpose only, and came back. I started crying, me, the little child- worker, and the other man came in.

They were having their regular, sadistic parties away from the sight of the (Jewish) swimmers!! They didn’t want to hurt the feelings of their fellow Jews by seeing their party of whipping an Arab child!! They were so human to avoid other Jews the sight of a sadistic whipping!!! Damn! Why in God’s sake do I remember the beach? Such a lovely beach of Israel!!!

I was tied, whipped, (out of sight) screaming, crying, and two men of 40s yelling at me not to raise my voice!! So human not to hurt the soft feelings of the other Jews!!

These two brave men gave me a lesson that I would never forget: Don’t come to OUR beach again!! – I went home weeping, limping and bleeding alone!!!

What a lovely sunny beach for a day off!

Sami, the bedouin.
