Similarities between North Korea’s behavior and Iran’s are hard to overlook. Suspicions and evidence provided by North Korea’s example of deliberate defiance can no longer be ignored when referring to Iran’s insistence to pursue its nuclear ambitions.
If Iran gets hold of what is now North Korea’s strong bargaining chip in drawing the U.S. and other countries in it won’t be easy to persuade them to improve its human rights record.
