Bita Haidarian – Director and Producer of the Film. Bita is an award-winning writer/director/producer and the driving force behind Finding Bibi. She graduated from UT-Austin and the Victorian College of Arts in Melbourne, Australia. She currently lives in Austin, Texas.
Todd B. – Todd is working to craft Finding Bibi as an organization. He started life in Lanesboro, MN (pop. 788), went to the University of Wisconsin in Madison (pop. 230,000) and currently lives in Brooklyn, NY (pop. too crowded), where he and his fiancee are always searching for the best (read: cheapest) place to score chicken kebab.
Misha M. – Blog Editor. Misha hates cold climates and people who bump into her in the store without saying “excuse me” (was everyone raised in a barn?!). Although she lives across the street from an extremely popular gourmet coffee shop, she prefers green tea. When not making art, meeting new friends, or hanging out with her wonderful husband, she is busy searching the world for interesting stories to bring to Finding Bibi.
Esra’a Al-Shafei – Consultant/Guru. Esra’a is founder and Executive Director of MideastYouth.com, an award-winning independent interfaith network whose mission is to inspire and provide young people with the freedom and opportunity of expression. She is a recent recipient of the Berkman Award from Harvard University’s Berkman Center and a 2009 TED Fellow. She is 22 years old and currenty lives in Bahrain.
