Podcast: Interview with Eva Ferrero, protesting for Gazan rights in Israel
Interview with Israeli human rights activist Eva on crisis in Gaza: Play Now | Play in Popup | Download (434)This is an interview with an admirable Israeli human rights activist who finds it deplorable what the Israeli government is currently doing to Gaza. In this podcast she speaks about Israeli violence, racism, and how the current terrorist activities from the Israeli military is far from justifiable. She is both against Hamas corruption and Israel but understands, unlike most Israelis, that Israel has taken it much too far with their aggression and provocative racism against Arab civilians even within Israel itself.
Strong language? Israel has done everything in its power to earn such a violent, disrespectful reputation worldwide. Right now, many Israelis are fighting back, side by side with other Palestinians who have nothing to do with Hamas corruption or any other political party, which many visibly criticize. Now other Israelis have no real excuse to dismiss them, but most still ignore and abuse anyone who dares to speak out against the violence.
For decades Israeli PR has been trying to sell us the idea that Israel has higher moral standards, that they’re fighting merely for their existence, that they’re the only “democracy” in the region when none are factually true. As a Jew and a Zionist Israeli, Eva verifies that, because she loves her country too much to see it stoop down to such pathetic levels and actually get away with it. She has been writing for many years and documenting the abuse that many face in Palestine as innocent civilians with no ties to terrorist behavior whatsoever. She clarifies this in the podcast as well, noting how she sacrificed many of her friendships by adopting the huge challenge of getting the truth out.
