Why comics?
Many of us are fatigued by the sheer amount of news and information thrown our way every day, and much of this media paints a negative picture of our neighbors throughout the world. How can we get to know each other if we are constantly reminded of how hopelessly different we all are? Comics is a narrative form that has been gaining attention in the past decade or so, and one of its greatest strengths is the way it can communicate the stories and emotions that we all share. Through the combination of pictures and words, the little things that tie us together can come alive.
